- O.G.E’s beats are HOT! This kid’s also got a great flow… check it out, seriously
- Swann sounds like he could be the next Talib!
- Banky Wellington’s got the hot beats and sounds like R. Kelly but with more latin flava – he might be my favorite!
- Texacal’s got the dirty south rhymes and some CRAZY beats and hooks…. Reminds me of old school Atari sounds.

You only see mostly black contestants because black people are mostly better at rapping and hip hop. This is not a racist or stereotypcial comment, it's the truth. This is also the reason you don't see a whole lot of black country musicians.
Black people have also been known to excel at sports unless I'm mistaken.
Maybe we should raise an outcry about the lack of white contestants and we can Send WJ in to rap, that would be pimp tight.

That's not true. Pop is too broad a genre to generalize like that. Destiny's Child is pop. Usher is pop... anything popular fits under this category. And half the people that make it onto American Idol are only looking for a break - they actually have no intention of singing pop...

Good question. I have no idea, but at the same time the hip hop industry is an African American led industry. It makes sense that the best finalists are thus black, wouldn't you agree?

Not only does this sound somewhat like a copycat of American Idol, why are all of the contestants African American? One or two look like they might be Hispanic, but why are there no other races in the contest? Seriously, there are no caucasians, Asian Americans, or anything else. Why?
