We always have New Year's Resolutions, but why not summer? Most of us have more free time in the summer, since we're out of school and all. So what are your resolutions for this summer (this includes ANYTHING you want to get done, whether it be see every major Blockbuster twice or lose weight or anything) Mine: 1. Get off of my caffeine addiction. 2. Get the following things working again: A. My rollerblades. B. My computer. 3. Get all of my editing done but keep writing as much as possible. I'll add more when I come up with them.

So the things I have done so far: 1. I bought new rollerblades, and my computer is fixed so number 2 is done. And that's about it. I was off of caffeine, but it's so amazing (read, the only thing in my house some days since everyone else has felt the urge to not drink as much soda/pop so everything I buy for myself disappears unless I hide it in my room) that I seem to have returned to the caffeine urges.

1. Get active - for example, walk around more, drive less. Kind of a double-whammy there, environmentally-friendly, and good exercise. 2. Eat better. I'm such an unhealthy eater right now! :P 3. Organize things in my room! It's a mess. 4. Maybe get a job? I'm old enough now, and next summer I'm going on a school trip to Europe, which I'm responsible for half the costs of. Might as well start saving up for it now.

Yeah, I know; my old point and shoot did okay macros, but I am thinking about seriously getting into photography, so I decided that if I buy a new camera it'll be a really good one. quote: Just remember I'm an amateur myself
But you're so good! :P quote: I bought a 50mm lens.
Awesome!

Oh? You know, you don't need a dslr to get good macros. A point and shoot camera could do. Unless you're thinking about seriously getting in to digital photography, in which case you will eventually need one. quote: 5. Get some more photography books, possibly get some advice from Sarai ( :P ) and overall better my photography. I'm glad to help whenever possible. Just remember I'm an amateur myself. I've told myself and others that all that is needed is practice and knowledge about how light works. On a side note, I have to put a slash across my number 5 objective. I bought a 50mm lens.

This is a really good idea. This past school year I've been saving so many things up to do this summer it would be good to get them down. Here goes nothin... 1) Get back into shape before Camp 2) Read all of the books I have before buying a new one!!! 3) Learn to break dance LOL 4) Make enough money for school next year 5) Finish writing my book. 6) Do some C-Service I got this account a while ago but never got back on so I don't have any friends (sadface) So talk to me =].

Great idea! mine would probably be to: 1. Not hang around my friends all the time 2. Be more confident/independent 3. Try and secure my way into Hollywood. (I'm a budding actress/pop star. Hence the motto down there.)
gotta sing! gotta dance! gotta be a star!

I have not. I didn't realize he got them for that reason as well...I think I will talk to him about it. Thank you. 5. Buy myself my third Nikon lens. The Nikon 60mm lens which is perfect for macro and portraits. I'm saving for it. *crosses fingers*

1. Little by little be able to get out of the house without suffering a panic or anxiety attack. 2. Take some fabulous photos of things other than my garden. 3. Take some formal family portraits of my family. 4. Start excessing again, and perhaps weight lifting too.
