No one can say you can't be in love if your such and such age. My last boyfriend and I had gone out off and on for over a year. The most recent time we had gotten engaged and I changed all of my life long plans and so had he so we could make new plans together. We're broken up right now, but honestly in my heart I know I love him and he's the person I'm supposed to be with. We've gone through too much together. And anyone who says, "You can't love him, you're too young." needs to step in my shoes for just a day and experience the feelings I have for him because then they would understand love is not a number.
i belive that love comes when every you let it in. theirs always gonna be someone out there that loves you. but how do you know if you love them back? you will. most of the time if your in a relationship you think you are in love but then when youe break up you move on and well you do the same thing over again some tinmes it works out some times it dont. you just have to believe.

I thought i knew what love was... and a close friend/ex had yelled at me for saying i love you. cause i "didnt know what it meant", i was extremely hurt when he said it.. but sure enuff, i realised when i told my newest beau "i love you" it hit me, and i realised it was sumtimes not so meaningful.. and there was no thought behind it... so umm PLEASE just think about it before u say it, and MAKE SURE YOU MEAN IT! Love is bascilly when you'll give up pretty much anything for the person u love. I don't think that teens can't be in love for real but it doesn't happen very often in real life. In the movies yes, but real life I really doubt it. Then there's that whole deal with guys don't know what love is. I think boys could be in love but When they're teens not really unless they're really mature.
There was this boy once who liked me a lot for a few years. He thought he loved me. EVERY girlfriend (and that's a lot of girlfriends!!) he's had since.. he's said he was in love with. He was never in love. How do I know this? He is way too immature to be love. Especially since every girl he likes he thinks he's in love with her. All he's had is lust. I don't know if you can really be in love when your young. Maybe you can, maybe you can't. I think it just depends on the person.
love is a very special thing. it something that lets you be your self in front of that one person do what you want and not be embarressed about. love comes many times in your life you don't know when its going to come but it's going to sooner or later. maybe when you are in middle, high, or college. love will come when its time for you to find that one person.

I agree that this day-in-age that people tend to over use the word love. Love is a feeling of expression. If someone feels something, they should say what they feel. Don't put down what others think. Its what they think and love is there. Maybe it hasnt happened to you. People find only 1 true love in their lifetime but they may find numerous people that they love and care about. Being in love and loving someone is completly different. SO next time you want to sit there and critize love then you can just sit there and wait for it instead of looking for it!

Well most of you seem to understand the basic concepts of love but there is always a deeper meaning. No I am not going to say that being young makes you wrong when you think you are in love but I will say that most young people blur the line between love and lust. We all desire to be loved and want more than anything in the world to find someone to love us just the same. I find myself saying when I was your age a lot lately, why because times change what was concidered bad 5 years ago is now the norm. Times change and now young people are getting married at 17,18 and even 19. Why, honestly I dont know but I can say that some people confuse physical attractivness with love and that is why so many people end up hurt and alone in their lives. Now for me I can say I was in love once and there was a physical attractiveness as well as a deeper feeling or longing for this girl but it just wasnt meant to be. Why,well she lived far away and long distance relationships are hard. Now I was only 12 the first time I meet this girl and I just knew she was the one, well when I was 20 I ran into her again and I felt the same way if not more longing for her. Nothing came of it but you know what I learned,that even though I was young I still knew what love was. Why because I had a deeper understanding not just a physical want but also a mental and spiritual one as well. So the next time someone tells you that you dont know what love is think hard about what you feel and look deep inside and make sure that what you feel is indeed love and not just a physical or sexual attraction, then you can show them that you really know what love is!
I think that poeple can flal in love at any age yes...but to tell you the truth...no one really knows what love is. I mean, yea you can look the word up in the dictionary, but everyone has their own perspective on what love really is. So, people can think that young people can't fall in love, but that really doesn't matter. Ithink that it really does not matter what age you are for you to fall in love.when your with a person you should feel special around them if you feel special then you know thats the one for you.they treat you like no one has ever trated you.
Love....Oh, such a wonderous feeling....I have been blessed to be in love twice so far and I am ONLY 16. Feelings are not ruled by age, but by mental capacity. If you can understand it, you can feel it. Words of advice tho....Do be careful who you give your heart to, as some people may not feel the same, and you could be severely crushed. I am 15 years old and I am in love with a 13 year old(1&1/2 months).Some say that it is robbing a cradle but it isn't.He cheated on me in two diffrent states and when I found out he lied to me about it,his best friend (my current boyfriend)tricked him sayin that I hadn't called him yet and he admitted cheating and said that he had to tell me and I spoke.His best friend knows that I am in love with him and we agree that it will be over soon.Have you ever thought that guys will hit a girl when that want something.A guy that I dated for 4 years that I thought that I ws in love with desided that he couldn't take getting it from other girls but me.I wouldn't sleep with him.So he raped me even though it has been 4 years I still have nightmares.He calls because his son whants to talk to me.His son calls me mom he does not know that his real mom was killed by his dad.
i think you can fall in love at any age. im 13, and its already happened to me. it really really hurts if they dont feel the same way though. and i HATE it when people are like o i love you and i love you and i love you! its like YOU DONT GET IT does anyone feel the same way?
Love can come in so many forms. It does not matter what age you are, just as long as you yourself can trust your feelings. If your just saying that you are in love with someone to be popular, it's not real. It doesn't matter whether you like the same or opposite sex, just as long as you love each other is what matters. I have actually found love, and she is the best person I know. Don't give up. Even if you think it won't work out, it always does, in one way or another.
I don't really believe in love. It's so abused, people say I love you all the time and you know what, it doesn't mean anything. There's no felling behind it when people say it anymore. I don't think love is real, it's a fairy tale people just wish were true. Don't ever believe it cause you'll just end up with a broken heart, no matter 'how much you mean it'. Love is just a word guys use to get what they want. And when they do, they leave. And don't fall for anyone because that will just hurt even more when they break your heart.
