Alright, I know most of you are fond of anime, so please don't respond with something such as, "OMG u dnt no n e thin anime is c001!!1!"

Anyway, I cannot stand anime. The characters all seem to lack substance, the style is generic, and the characters all have analogous features: small noses, slanted eyes/huge eyes encapsulating stars of some sort, neurotically thin bodies, or exceedingly colossal muscles and small heads.

I can hardly differentiate between males and females, thus ruining the plot of normalcy, or whatever endeavor is made to accomplish it. And the plots.. wait.. what plots? The voice-overs are irritating, as are the general settings of the stories.

Also, the uber anime-lovers generally seem to band together, form clubs, go to conventions, and immerse themselves in a fictional world.

What the hell is wrong with these individuals? It's like Halloween.. but everyday. I see individuals wearing shirts such as, "Forever Yaori!" or "I <heart> Hentai. Do you? ^.^"

Am I justifiable in my aversion to anime, or am I being close-minded?

i love anime ^^ but yeah you gotta actually get real into it to understand it and you usually cant get into the popular ones. fooly cooly. that is a good anime show even though its not even 10 episodes long :P but yeah its your choice so whatever ^^

Don’t see how you guys can not love anime. I love anime. You say the characters lack substance, but I thank that ever one is lack some substance in real life. Anime gets us something to relate to. You just have to find a good anime. Then you’ll love anime.

Since I have no idea what you guys are talking about, I'll just say that Anime is very boring, the only one I possibly enjoy is Yu-Gih-Oh, which is also stupid, but it gets my attention. Anywho, Anime is boring, sometimes it's just talking and talking. And all those peole who waste their time watching anime...get a life, Salor Moon will never be your wife, and you'll never get any touching yourself watching Goku...
