i know i have before. really weird but cool ya know? so, have you ever been able to control your dreams?

i read of some ways to help you more lucid in your dreams. they've actually helped me to fly in my dreams. sweet huh.

in the middle of the day, a couple of times a day, ask yourself if you are dreaming. are you? no. (well at least not regarding a philosophical sense), but usually you are awake. this exercise will get you in the habit of becoming conscious when you do dream. if you do this enough you should become more cognitive in your dreams.

then look at your hand when you ask this. then when you dream, ask the question, and look at your hand. this action is a conscious action and allows you to have control from there. also think intently about what you want to dream about, just before you fall a sleep. it's fun for a while, flying in the hyper speed of your mind, breathing underwater, jumping really high, or landing on your feet after falling from a plane. but it sucks because you have to wake up eventually.

I can't control what i dream about, but if its something i dont want to, i can wake myself up...its kinda wierd.

Well, kinda. The only one I've ever seen was the 4th movie, and we copied it off of T. V. When I was little, it was my favorite movie and I watched it at least once a week. I was obsessed, it was cool. And I dreamed about it.

I have major problems sleeping I get so freaking hot(I think I have a fever) and I think about killing myself at night. Anywayz, yeah sure and its so kool.

You don't dream if you don't remember it in my opinion. But i do know about REM, so you kinda do dream.

I know what you mean about lack of sleep.Sometimes i just can't knock myself out.

I can sometimes control my dreams, but not often.

I think I could control my dreams.

All I need to do is just not go to sleep at night but go to sleep when it's day light outside. Um, but the problem with that is that I think I can't sleep at all anymore. I try to go to sleep at night and it's hard but I can't sleep when it's light outside. However, I been sick so I been sleeping a lot because I get fevers all the time and I'm so knocked out that I guess I don't dream.

talk about dreams, i had these dreams more than once when i was a kid. the first one was about there's bubbles all around me, and they're turning bigger and bigger. and the bigger it gets, the faster world will end .(weird dream, eh?)and the second one was about everyone was wearing a mask. and i remember i was crying. when i woke up, i went up to my parents and look at their faces and see if they were wearing a mask.

Hmmm, interesting...I didn't know anybody else could do it either. Lucid dreams have plagued me, though they are pretty cool. It started out when I was an ickle kid and I was able to run away from monsters by crossing my arms and yelling, "Beam me up, Scotty!" Yeah...wierd.

Now it's sort of an ongoing story, like Everquest or something, where I can make my own decisions and future events change depending on how I react. If something happens I don't like, I can go back and fix my mistakes. Neat stuff.

I also have dream deja vu. I'll do things in my dreams and live them out in the future. Some sort of premonition or something.

i love controlling my dreams. i guess it makes up for not having any real control in life. caerat3, you described it exactly as it happens to me. i have never heard of lusive dreaming before, sounds cool. i always thought i was the only one because none of my siblings could.

i can control my dreams in the xtra stage of my sleep, but when i get into deep sleep(which is not deep at all lol) i just go with the flow.
Only one dream in my xtra stage was not controlable, and that was my nightmare.i never could change it until the other night when it changed itself. that was a while back and i haven't had it since, so i hope i never have it again.GRR
