i'm a closet rock fan because i'm black and you know how the sterotype is black people only like rap well i don't and my friends are all black and they like rap and i asked what they thought about rock they said they hated it and black people shouldn't listen to it and of course at the risk of losing my friends i agreed that rock music sucked...is it wrong for me to listen to this type of music because i'm black?

it done propperly when people make it sound like sarcasm it sounds liike she's just trying to **** me off so i'm just going to ignore lameasses like her

I second that, I dated a black girl who not only liked rock, but heavy metal. No one lipped up to her, if they did, they got a smack! Be strong, I have faught stereotypes by my own race, it's time we all did.

Why should black people have to conform to a stereotype? It's total bs. Listen to whatever you want. It isn't wrong. But if it makes life easier to deny your music taste to your friends, that's understandable, you can keep it to yourself if you think it'd cause a lot of trouble.
