Well, I decided to post a short rant here about what an idiot one of my teachers is. He says that we'd be better off in this world without Muslim "ragheads", that the Holocaust was a good idea, and that everybody should be a christian. In my small town in the "Bible Belt", it is rare to see anybody other than a caucasian or african american super-conservative baptist. My best friend is Hindu-I met her at a camp- and although that makes no difference to me, people regard me as a freak because of it. So, I'm done for now.

There is no such thing as diversity, other than a concept used to further draconian affirmative action programs and pervert tolerance into blind acceptance of differences. True diversity is impossible and totally undesirable; there should always be a limit to what views are allowed and what views are deemed violent and repugnant (i.e. National Socialism, Racism, and Marxism etc.). This archaic concept of diversity, that we should at all times have widely different groups of people, has been used to further reverse-discrimination towards whites and traditional thinkers or conservatives at various times.

What do you call affirmative action, which rewards people simply because of ethnicity or race over equally or more qualified whites, under the false concept that minorities can't help themselves? That is racism, the concept that minorities (including myself) are somehow incapable of landing a job so they should be given a race-based advantaged over whites. If you were to do the opposite, give jobs to whites based on race, you would be branded rightfully a racist bigot, whereas under the current system of affirmative action it is perfectly legal to take jobs or education from hardworking whites and give them to minorities, all the while patronizing blacks, Hispanics, native Americans and other groups by assuming that they couldn’t get them without government interference.

Diversity should not be an end in itself by which we judge the success of society, quite the contrary we should stop placing such an emphasis on people’s backgrounds and appreciate them for themselves. This is what the original civil rights movement intended, that people would be judged by the content of their character rather than by their skin (as Martin Luther King Jr. but it), but ironically that ideal has been underscored by affirmative action espoused by the modern civil rights movement and opportunistic “minority” leaders. The truth is diversity as a concept and goal has been used to hinder progress in race relations today, not improve them. We need equal opportunity, not state sanctioned “positive” discrimination (racism).

I talked to the superintendent about the teacher, and she didnt believe me. DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

people who can't have an open mind **** me off. i mean i am strong in my belifes and don't plan on changing but people have a right to their own beliefs even if their wrong anyway i can't belive your teacher said that cn't he be sued or something, how can anyone say that killing innocent people is a good idea. tell your teacher he has issues and to go suck a pickle (sorry inside joke).

He's not supposed to share views like that with your class. Try and get him fired. Or at least demand a different teacher come and speak to your class about diversity/racism and so on.

Sometimes teachers say stupid things intentionally, just to get kids to think. I hope the person didn't really mean it.

Anyway, time heals all wounds. I'm sure your friend will become well liked. Most people I have met from India were very nice.

i have friends who r irish,philopino,korean,jamacian,italian,haitian,
greek,peruvian, spainsh, the list goes on forever

Heh... I live in Georgia, most definitely the Bible Belt. I know a lot of people that aren't Christians though. So I would say we have a lot of diversity. Maybe you just live in a REALLY little town. That could explain it.
