Hello! I am rather new to the site and am figuring out how it works. If you have any tips or suggestions for me, please feel free to state them, anything would be helpful. Thank you.

Haha. I always think i sound so young on here. I did the same thing to Celtic though. I thought she was like 17 and she was only 15 at the time.

Thank you very much. No, you weren't harsh, and yes, I too am much more appeased when people take the time to check their spelling before submitting a response.

There was a thread for this purpose, the newbie playing rules or something like that.

Give him a break, blue. This is actually a nice idea.

He recognizes he is new and doesn't want to irritate others so instead of doing so and getting yelled at by vets, he simply asks. Very mature of him.

Anyways, nikky's tips were good. Also, always make sure your reply adds something to the thread---don't repeat what someone has numerous times.

Respect others' opinions while still voicing your own (I know that sounds like a given but...)

And observing, like blue said, is the best way to evaluate what others opinions are and what they take kindly to.

Welcome to YN!

Don't start threads like this. Learn from observing.

I dont know about what to do but i can tell you what irritates most people
-sms language
-too many spelling mistakes
-getting up dead threads
-starting new threadsabout stuff already overwritten about (good ex cutting)
-chatting on the thread .

( not necassarily in that order )
