I'm a Centrist.

Hey amp I got saluted by two retired marines for playing "The Marines Hymn", on my Alto Sax. I was camping, had to play some songs for my grandparents, when they walked up and talked to me. They said some things in Latin that I didn't understand.

Centrist leaning towards the left.

quote:
CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government

control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on

the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention

and sometimes support individual freedom of choice.

Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind,

tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what

they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

I like to think that someday we will all wake the fuck up and realize that underneath it all, underneath all our divisions, we are all people. why do we need to feel identified with a certain country, or with a certain group? Can´t our identity be more than that? Should I care more about someone because they happen to have been born in the same country that I was, instead of someone who was born in China, just because of that?

Well, I'm kinda mad because my dad hasn't put forth any effort whatsoever into looking for his own place to stay. And he keeps going out and drinking until early morning, with hundreds of dollars in his pocket. If he thinks he's going to live with us, this is going to be a very volatile situation.

I'm going to my boat with my mom and sister. This should be throughly depressing. I'll be home tomorrow.

I've been to the one in Pepin, WI

I've been to that one too - I still have this wooden top that my friend got me. I love the Little House books - I have read all of them several times, and now I'm reading then to my sister.

can now officially say that I have been to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historical Museum. It was.... something else. Actually it was pretty interesting. I used to love those books.

I've been to the one in Pepin, WI; Mansfield, Missouri; Walnut Grove, MN; Burr Oak, IA; Spring Valley, MN; and De Smet, SD.

I went to all but Mansfield and Pepin last summer. And I waded into Plum Creek. A little girl saw me and wanted to, too, but she had to take off her shoes and stockings whereas I only had to kick off my flip-flops. :-P

Yes, I am a Little House Geek. I have an entire shelf filled with those books. And that's with them piled on top of each other to fill more room. The only thing that could beat me for Little House Geek is Nancy Drew Geek, but that's a whole other story.

Now that I wrote all that, I wonder who'll actually read it...
