So this doesn't quite work exactly like I wanted...but it's good enough I think... Edit: Nevermind. It didn't work.

I'm going to test mine out... EDIT: I do not know, Meg. I don't think the encoding we want works on the boards so well...

Should I put this on my rocket or keep on looking for something else? It is in Latin. Illegitimi non carborundum "Don't let the bastards grind you down."

My mother is my hero. I figured out that it would cost me $27 in finance charges for every day late. Since there was no way I would be able to get online to transfer the money I need to my checking to pay my credit card by 4pm, my mom let me pay over the phone with her checking account. Now my 10.5 hour error is only going to cost me $56 instead of $83. This is all utterly ridiculous. EDIT: Even more ridiculous was how easy it was to make a payment over the phone with someone else's bank account. I had to give them the last four numbers of the card holder's (MY) SSN. Then I had to give them information off of one of my mom's checks. For those of you who haven't put two and two together, this means that I could pay off my credit card with anyone's check that I happen to have laying around. Insane.

Well I was able to change my due date to between the 28th and the 1st, which should help immensely. Interest is incurred on a daily basis. Because their site will be down until midnight tonight, and their idea of a "day" is before 4pm, I'm going to be charged an extra day of interest charges because of their stupid website maintenance. I can't believe I did this again. AND I just found dog urine on my carpeting. I don't allow the dog in my room. Period. There is no reason there should be pee on my carpet.

Meagan I didn't know you lived in Michigan either! Open House was horrible. I figured out that I am the nerd cousin who is unable to be held as someone to talk to by my other cousins.

I AM TICKED. They bumped up the due date for my Visa payment a couple months ago from the end of the month to the 23rd. Which was yesterday. Which Meagan realized again one day late. AGAIN. This has now happened TWICE since they moved up my date. And it'll cost me about $35 with the late fee and finance charges. I think I need to call up customer service to get an end-of-the-month due date. I am so angry with myself. To top it all off, my bank's website is down today for "scheduled maintenance" so I can't pay it right away.

what gave you that impression? I thought we were arguing about who takes second place in the "most awesome of states" contest. I was under the impression that everyone simply accepted alaska's dominance in... well everything

So does Detroit, so Michigan wins :P And Wisconsin has stuff like cheese and cows, so I guess that's worth something...

That's cool. I wish I could say Wisconsin trumps all, but, well, nobody ever comes to Wisconsin, and we apparently don't like things that are non-alcohol related to be open after 10... We DO know how to throw block parties though. And how to incite riots...
