how is everyone?

After nationals I should be able to come on pretty regularily mby... idk. Then college debate starts with little pause.

It's funny b/c I was reading this post on hsdebate.com about this couple that just got married from debate and they were talking about how they always understood that debate comes before eachother. And it's awesome b/c I'm pretty sure that's what I'd want in a relationship. HA. wow...so anyway, that's debate for you. Comes before yn and romance.

So anyawy, I was having a dilemma that I thought yn may help out on, well mostly ikki told me to get on and then I was like... I wonder what yn peeps would think of this.

So at my job (I'm a lifeguard) there are often 2 guards on duty. When I work with 2 of the guards I often feel like I have to radio them all the time to tell them to do stuff. But then they get sort of annoyed like "yeah... I know..." and stuff. I'm new so I don't totally know all the policys. But sometimes kids are clearly breaking rules and I could like walk around the pond and tell the kids myself, or I could radio and tell the other guards, or I could just ignore them.
What do you guys think?

MN debater, AIM me, I'm probably on and I'm probably bored... toughgirldb8r

I really don't like my job anymore. The hours are too long, the pay is terrible, and the work is monotonous.

Yes, I have to leave for work in 20 minutes. Today's an 8-5 day.

So I was invited to the Tigers game tonight...but because of work, I wasn't able to go. I was pretty bummed out about it too.

Then I find out that Verlander pitched a no-hitter...something the Tigers haven't done for 23 years. Yeah...

Today was my last day of school. Well really it's tomorrow, but today was like the end ceremony and everything, and I probably won't go tomorrow... I can't deal with saying good-bye again. The idea of not seeing some people that are so meaningful to me again (or not in a long time) depresses me a lot. I guess I need to look at this the other way around, at least I've had this experience, better than not having it at all, even if now it's painful as hell. God. I hate fucking changes, and I know it's something I have to learn to live with, as life is change. But it doesn't make it any less hard.

That's how my mom was when my brother wanted to join. Just try to understand her point of view, she's a mother.

Today is my last Tuesday working in the morning 8-1! Next week I'll work my office job 8-11 and my nanny job 12-6. (I like my nanny job 20x as much.) Smile
