Reply: to further my placement as an EMT. I completed every test like five minutes before everybody else, so I am first in placement. Although diving with a heavy fire hose under a table I do not recommend. I do not recommend a ton of other stuff either. Like turning on the water full blast until the other people holding onto the hose say they are ready five times. I am soaked, it was fun watching everybody go though they made some really stupid mistakes.

I have to go through a test that involves wearing fire fighter gear, and saving people on the beach of lake Michigan.

I live! kinda... again So I had a clean physical and I scored an 82 on the ASVAB (it's out of 99, that means I qualify for all but two jobs in the Marines and those both require further testing) I however am not sworn in to the DEP program yet because the changed a "9" to a "6" in my social security number on all my paperwork, so I need to change it, and go back to MEPS to verify my contract and (finally!) swear in. Cool thing though: I got my offical Marine Corps Service Record today, it is full of awesome even though I don't get to keep it (at any point honestly)

Last night I was freaking out cause I had a test today and I didn't know one of the problems, and was shaky on the last chapter. Get there, take the test, start worrying that I know less than I thought. Finish what I know, tinker around with it a little, then decide I might as well go. Problem: The two guys on either side of me aren't done, and BOTH their chairs are right up against the table behind us. I can't get out. So I sit there and wait for 20 minutes, still looking hopelessly at a couple problems. FINALLY, they both get up to leave at the SAME time, FIVE MINUTES After class. I got up to leave as well, which looks slightly suspicious, but I COULDN'T GET OUT! :'( So I'm walking and I get to the stairs. Halfway done, I just SLIDE and go down the stairs, with my shoe landing at the bottom, and me trying to get ahold of the railing without sending 2 papers, my pencil, my calculator AND my textbook flying. IT. FUCKING. HURT. And then I cried. On the bright side: I'm eating good food now...

Amendment: No lake today. There are some menacing looking weather patterns. We're still meeting to figure out what else we can do today.
