Sweet! Just fill out the paperwork and we'll be good to go. In other news, I lost four lbs. at my best friend's birthday party. What a day, what a day...

So I am not a fan of the cafeteria here. The food is not that great, not a lot of options for vegetarians, and they got rid of my favorite dish. I can deal with that. Most nights. But tonight, they had eggrolls. I took one from the vegetarian line (it's combined with another line.. it's seriously like one fresh dish and a leftover if they have too much) and it even said it was vegetarian. I go to my table, take a big bite and as I'm chewing realize: there is meat in here. I. Was. NOT. Happy. I don't care if others eat meat, but since I choose not to for my own reasons, don't feed me meat as "vegetarian." And yes, I'm positive it was meat since my friend had a meat one (we weren't sure if they were pork or chicken) and we cut both of ours open to realize they looked the same inside. Now I get to do a ton more reading and stay cooped up inside. I really am not cut out for traditional academia or at least this mass producing of degreed workers...

I really want to go outside too Cap, but I have nothing to do... I'm thinking I'll just open all of my windows and clean my room or something.

Aww! That's awesome.

I GOT MY BOOK!!! My friend brought it to me. I haven't had any real gum in years, just Freedent... that was the one rule of having braces that I actually followed. God I can't wait till I get these off..

My advice on redoing your room would be to pick out a color and buy the paint this weekend...and then bug your parents about it every weekend for a month. The last time you bug them, threaten to paint it yourself if they don't help you. Then follow through the following weekend. I started peeling off the border in my room when I wanted it redone and it was the best catalyst for change... Although it sounds like you're doing more than painting if there isn't anything left in your room... quote: And I hate my library; I went on the 26th to see if a book I wanted was there, and I looked it up in their cataloge, which said it was due the 26th... it wasn't there. Then I went back on the morning of the 27th, and apparently it was returned and somebody else checked it out and it's not due till JUNE.
See if you can be put on a waiting list for the book so that you are the first one who gets a chance to check it out as soon as it is returned.

Hmm.. so on Thursday me and my family (minus my dad) went to Kalamazoo and stayed at an oober-awesome hotel that had a piano in the lobby, so I played Harry Potter and it was awesome. Then we decided that since we were half-way to Chicago, we might as well go, so we did.. and it was awesome. AND THE TRUMP TOWER IS ALMOST DONE!!! You can even reserve rooms now. We went to this really big Italian restaurant, and some waitress dropped the circle-thing she carries food on, and everybody started clapping and cheering.. apparently they do that everywhere there. So we got back Sunday and my room was... empty. And when I asked where my bed/clothes/computer/etc. were, my parents decided to tell me I could re-do my room. So for the next five years I'll be sleeping on the couch, because my parents have never once started re-doing a room of our house and finished; they still need to finish our second bathroom, our garage, our kitchen (they started re-doing it TEN YEARS AGO), our living room, a room they built in the basement, and our computer room. And I hate my library; I went on the 26th to see if a book I wanted was there, and I looked it up in their cataloge, which said it was due the 26th... it wasn't there. Then I went back on the morning of the 27th, and apparently it was returned and somebody else checked it out and it's not due till JUNE. -angry face- -deep breath- And that has been my life for the past few days.

Yes, that is what it says on the government copyright site. I just got off a 5 hour shift. My knees hurt SO badly. I wore my knee brace on my bad knee, but it's still throbbing. AND I remembered to rinse my knees/shins with cold water after my shower to prevent swelling...I need to figure out something I can do for my poor joints.

I license all my pictures under Creative Commons, so people can use my pictures all they want so long as they attribute them to me.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Though I do want to be a photographer and dedicate myself to that. So I'd like for my work to be protected. Hmm...

quote: I loved your review. One of my biggest complaints about it is that Edward is so possessive and every girl seems to love him. That worries me...
Thanks, I really think that book would be much better if all the characters had flaws that would work against them in some way. But nooo they had to be perfect... quote: to EG: I read your review of Twilight & while I've never read it myself I can see where a book that follows that type of plot flow would be tedious to read. Since you seem knowledgable about literature & the occult/horror realm of books, I was wondering if you would not mind critiquing a few samples from my current book. I need expert opinions. Wow, everyone's writing books. I should jump on the bandwagon. But sure I'll read some your stuff, and I like how you called my opinion "expert". Finally, someone has seen the light.
