I saw Disturbia last night. I really liked it.

I was gonna go see that today (I want to see Vacancy, but it's rated R), but then I had this nervous breakdown/panic attack thing. So me and my mom went to a park instead, and now we rented this movie called Long Distance, and are about to watch it. Smile

I have decided that the semester can't end soon enough. I'm having to go to coffee shops every night in order to accomplish anything. I can't afford this...

"Are you having fun writing that paper?" -Mom

"Well it's a pretty interesting topic..." -Meagan

"If you say so..." -Mom

"Are you saying my paper is boring?!" -Meagan

"Well...maybe you just need to be someone of a higher intellect to appreciate it." -Mom

(I'm going to Caribou Coffee...this weather is too tempting.)

I am so upset right now, I think I might break something. Why are people doing this? What the hell is wrong with them?!

Now I am sitting on a blanket on my front lawn doing homework. I have not yet determined if this is more or less distracting than the alternatives, but I sure am enjoying it!

Very cool YV. Smile

I'm at the library. I have over a page written in my Iran paper. I think, in order for this to work, I need to have this 8 page paper done by 5pm tomorrow...which gives me just under 25 hours and has to be doable.

The other day I made some changes to my profile. I had no idea I could do certain things. I think it's more interesting now.

People!

Just poking in to say hi, and bye, and whatnot. Good news: xp is on my computer! Bad news: I don't seem to have an internet connection (thank gods for brothers who let me use theirs).

Also, I'm going to a bike race sunday! It's the first bike race my dad has done since he *cough* came out bloody and hardly able to walk. Ahem. He needs support, so I'm his man.

And my little brother and I are going to see The Decemberists in concert on the third! We've got the tickets already. I'm so excited. It's better than it sounds. We don't have to drive all the way to Portland to see them, which would take the better part of the day and leave no time for sleep.

Anyways..

I have half of one page done on my Iran paper. More importantly, I have a thesis statement. I really don't LIKE my thesis statement, but for now, that's just too bad.

Iran has had a long history with their nuclear program and their current pursuance of nuclear technology continues to be a source of global concern. <--I like what it says, just not how it says it.

My uncle's stepmother died and the funeral is tomorrow. My aunt is dropping off my cousins at 9am for me to babysit. I really don't have the time to be taking away from my schoolwork, but I couldn't say no. It's going to be just me all morning, so it should be an interesting morning. (Amy is 3 years and Jenny is about 8 months.)

I haven't started my research papers yet. I don't really know how it's supposed to go...

I DID e-mail my professor to ask about her opinion of Wikipedia as a paper source...and she said that as long as I verify important facts with a reliable source, it would be acceptable. Big Grin

Thanks guys.

I went back to the cemetery this morning, it was full of flowers. His head stone is not there yet, but it will be there eventually. His grave is right by a tank, I took some pictures.

I miss him...

I finished my Model UN class journal. Now I have an 8 page paper on Iran and a 5 page paper on DPRK to be e-mailed in by Monday at midnight.

Mind you, I have NO idea how to even begin these papers...

It is! It's 73 degrees out...tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 80, so me and my friends might go swimming. Smile
