Good job on your argument, Meg. Smile Why don't you explain to your mom that you're not doing her BS because you have your own BS to deal with, and that if she continues to bother you with her BS, you're gonna have a BF.

The skating party went awesome...just so you all know. Big Grin

My argument went very well. I started off so strongly that the justices didn't interrupt for a good amount of time. Then one of the justices wanted me to answer one of the questions in such a way that would have been highly detrimental to the case that the side my interest group was helping. I evaded the question well enough and I am pleased with how I did.

Now I'm just dealing with a mother who doesn't seem to get the fact that I was planning on doing homework from the second I got home until the second I went to bed. She wanted me to pick up something on my way home, I did it. Now it's taking the dog for a walk, fine. Now I find out that we have to go out to dinner with my grandparents who are home from Florida. They're going to come here to see the dog, so can I clean the house before we go out? WHAT THE HECK? I'm pretty frustrated. I have less than a week left of classes, tons left to do, I didn't know how it would all get done BEFORE my mom piled all of this on, she doesn't understand and I can't handle this right now.

[singing] The flesh may rest but the soul marches on, a soldier walks the road for long, and though our brother may have passed, in our memory he'll forever last

Mine eyes have seen the greater glory of the coming of the Lord, He is stomping out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored, His truth goes macrhing on! Glory, Glory Hallelujah, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah His truth goes marching on

I have my oral argument at 11am. (It is a 15 minute argument where I outline what I want to speak about, and the nine justices interrupt me with questions whenever they choose.) I am so nervous it it not even funny.

I made 8 dozen chocolate chip cookies this morning. Smile

Now I should be looking at more precedent cases for my moot court oral argument for tomorrow. I was supposed to go on Wednesday and it was postponed and I'm very nervous about it.

I'm just waiting on my friend to tell me which ones I should bother to know...

LTR, I only stopped using punctuation because I knew it drove you nuts. Wink

Whoa! Shade, how did you get him to do that? I've been trying to get him to use punctuation forever.

Skating trip tomorrow...and after that, skipping school. Wink

Must...go...find...outfit...for...skating. Damn you, YN, for making me stay on the computer instead of going to find an outfit for tomorrow!!

Vive la Difference! I shall never use your vile "puntuation", I shall resist until my very last... damn it.

Anyhow. I got some weird reactions from my being quiet last night. One of my coworkers laughed at me. Bastard. One said "Ez, I haven't heard you spoke all night." For the record, spokes are something you put on your wheels, not something you do. And my manager made me take off the paper that explained why the hell I wasn't speaking. All in all, it was a bad night, though it was only bad for the last few hours, so not too big of a loss. I got IHOP out of it, though. Big Grin

It didn't work. Frown

It's been doing this off and on, it tends to be more difficult to get it to charge the more dead it is (in other words, it works the worst when it needs to work the best). Also, sometimes unplugging it and replugging it helps, or moving around the plug where it connects to the computer.
