Perhaps they both talked about it and decided to do it together. Who knows. I'd rather not speculate. I tend to dig too deep...in to things that one shouldn't. :P

Yeah. But it is pretty suspicous that both Meg and Ikki left on the same day withing 10 minutes of each other on April Fools Day...

Most churches here confirm at the end of 8th grade; our church is one of the latest at fall of freshman year. How weird.

I kind of fell asleep while watching a movie last night. I woke up randomly and found myself alone in the family room so then I came up to my room.

We don't get confirmed until the beginning of our senior year, though most Catholic churches here do it junior year.

I had to fight really hard to get my name on the regular lector schedule at my church. Once you are confirmed, you are an adult in the church, but the lector chairperson didn't feel that a high school freshman would be good enough. I fought it for about a year. Finally, she added me, although she made a point that I was an exception. I'm still the youngest one 5 years after I began and the chairperson absolutely adores me. She doesn't have any children, so I'm pretty much the daughter she never had...and she's quite a character, so it keeps life interesting. Wink

I wish I had time to read...

I use to give classes to the youth at my church. And I volunteered freely and cheerfully...

I absolutely hate lectoring at mass. I am still trying to figure out how to get my name off the damn list.

I just got home from church. I was lectoring this weekend, and since it is Palm Sunday tomorrow, we did a reading of the Passion. Because of this, there were three lectors: Meagan and two old men.

Now I'm sitting around waiting for people to figure out their plans so I can jump in accordingly.

So I went out and bought a laptop for my brother. Mission accomplished. Well...that is until I send it to Iraq and he gets it...so then this would be...mission in progress?
