I am a God-loving teenager who is not afraid to speak out. On a well-informed site like this, I know I am not the only one! Would anybody like to share their testimony about how they got saved?

what exactly does it mean to be "saved"?

i'd have to say that my favorite part about being jewish is the holidays. great food, family, services where i can hang out with the kids when i not in the actual service. good times, good times. i'm not really big on the traditional prayers. probably cuz i never learned hebrew in hebrew school (we did more torah study, which i liked better anyways) so don't know what they mean. except stuff like blessings for shabbat candles, wine, challah, and the shehechianu and the shema, which are the two biggies. the former is for when you experience any special event, rainbow, new baby, bat mitzvah, winning a game, anything good like that. the latter covers just about everything else. i like the shema cuz its just the basics: listen o Isreal, the lord is g-d, the lord is one. you can use it for just about everything. cool, huh? that was a really long train of thought.

i once went to the deep south (alabama, to be exact) and i mentioned something about my bat mitzvah and some guy said "your jewish? where are your horns?"

i'm a Christian, Catholic actually. and i'm not afraid to show it. i love my faith and i'll tell anyone about it and dont care what they think about me. Jesus is so awesome and being Catholic is so much fun! i never would've survived without Jesus.

Hey I got really saved in 7th grade but I accepted Christ when I was 5 at camp. But then my family hit some hard times and I just couldn't take it so I began going to youth group and my relationship with God grew more and it continues to each day. I'm in 10th grade now and i couldn't have made this far without Jesus. He's so wonderful I could talk about him forever I may even want to be a minister or youth pastor .

And Proud of it! my testimony is kind of boring though, it got more interesting when I hit the teens though. My only cure to angst is my bible!lol
