As many of you know, the Oscars are coming up. What movies do you think deserved to be nominated but where not? Here are my movies... 3:10 to Yuma - by far the best movie of the year. This should be nominated for best picture, Christain Baile should be nominated for best actor, and Russell Crowe should be nominated for best supporting actor. The Assination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford - Also should be nominated for best picture. True, the last part was a drag but it doesn't mean that up until Jesse James was killed was an awesome movie. Cassey Afleck should be nominated for best actor. Eastern Promises - Best picture

A whole bunch of underrated indie films. Plus
Zodiac should have gotten a "Best Adapted Screenplay" nomination. Or director.
Control's Sam Riley did well, would have liked to see him nominated.

American Gangster wasn't nominated for any Oscars? An atrocity.

My mistake, I forgot to include American Gangster. for best picture. If you haven't seen these movies I have mentioned, and you are over 17, drop everything and rent them imediatley.

Jesse James should get a nomination for best cinematography as well. Very well done. I agree with all of your nominations.
