I feel that everyone should have the right to be married if they love the person. If a man loves a man they should be able to be married. Same for a woman or a transgender person. Marriage is between to people who love each other it's not about sexual intercourse of anything but LOve. From the Catholic point of view homosexuality is wrong, but this country has freedom of religion so it shouldn't matter if 50% percent of our country is religious it should be legal to marry because not all people are Christians or Cathlics or even believe in God. It;s mostly because gays want to call it marriage well I don't think they'll mind if civil unions had the same rights as a married couple wouls so there gay be children with the parents where a man and a woman or two men or two woman. I don't see a problem w/ a civil union w/ a married couple's rights and I don't think gays will either. What do you guys think?  |

I don't think it is right, although I am catholic, and I was taught marriage is between a man and a women, the way god intended it to be.

Well uptowngirl I have only been here for a short while and I made a type-o big woop. I felt I needed to express my views and so I did which is what message boards are for. They are for the posting of ones opinion in a safe and a nondiscriminative maner. So if I want to start a post because I didn't see one before then sorry but I don't see a problem with expressing views in a new topic post thta may have its own topic space already.
