It is a deadly cycle that goes on in dozens of cities throughout the US and all over the world. Men are intimidated by the smallest thing "their" wife does, even going so far as to beat her for looking at another man, even if it is a friend.

The only way I can think of for this to happen is through showing our children enough times to make them think that it is right, when it is not.

In many cultures, women are looked down upon as the lowest of the low. Up until recent times there was no thinking otherwise.

But I guess, in the end, my question to you is this: Is a man's might and ego more important than his wife and children??

Are Women Innocent Victims?

I know I might ruffle some feathers on this but yes I believe it is ok to hit a woman. But and this is a big but, only if your life is in danger. Not when you become upset and cant control your temper or you hold things inside until you snap. Only if she is trying to kill you then I believe that it is ok for you to get away and knock her down, or move her off of your person, pin her down until the cops come but I dont support people who beat on or continue to hit a woman. Most of the time you can simply move her or leave all without even laying a hand on her person.

well, unless the guy had a gun to my head...i would not let him beat me...women need to stick up for themselves...he hits you, beat him back oh some might say..oh no, dont hit back it wrong...well, eye for an eye...i sure as hell would hit him back...then leave the *******

I don't think Ne1's ego is that important. And wife beaters are terrible people. But b 4 real. Sometimes (and not all the time) women do drive their men to hit them. I know alot of really good guys who R in jail now because thir women made them snap. And NO. I'm not just some male jerk who doesn't care if women get beat on.
I'm a female who realizes everything ain't so black and white.
