History: an elf, she was sent to live in the human world at birth, and bacame the foster child of Nathan and Annette Gilmore. She has always been able to use magic, and is very adept with air and water magic, although she is strong with earth and fire, also. Aya has just learned of her elven heritage, and is coming to grips with it

Gaius got a far away look in his eyes, tilting his head as if listening to somethin far off. I had come to realize this as him talking to the dragon he had bonded with.
Giaus: I might just have someone who could help you with your magic

I find myself right now outside the large double front doors of a citadel. The guards of course tried to bar my path but all I had to say was "I'm here to see Gaius" in order to get in. Nice place. I wonder if they have any rum.

Clothes: Beach shorts, muscle tees, & sandals. Also has an earing in each ear. Wears a big medalion around his neck (it is a symbol of 3 flames entrining around a heart).

Lives: Nowhere in particular.

History: Not much is known about Alex except this report: "From the files of the Magi Police Force: Alexander Cray is to be found & taken into custody for high crimes against the 3rd & 4th councels of magic. Use any means necessary to apprehend this suspect without any regard for the secrecy of magic. Alexander Cray is a level 86 threat so use extreme caution. May the powers of mana watch over you."

I have a head ache and am dead tired and very much lackig in creativity right now, so I'm not going to post anything worth while.

Yes I am still on vacation. I commendeered my friends computer and am currently using that. I probably won't post again until Friday.

Elizabeth: Would your friend happen to know someone who could help me with my magic?

Out of Character: I'm going to be out of town untill Thursday. I probably won't get a chance to log on untill then, but you never know. I might be able to get on at a friends house. We'll see.

*unfurls wings*
Gaius: Very true in fact, I can also breathe flames now, which is why your towel is now a cinder
Gaius: the dragon bond is even closer than how you put it, quite literally our minds and souls join in to one being. While we remain as two beings physically, mentally we are all ways in touch no matter how far we range from one another *pauses as if listening to some one* oh and claw says you shouldn't mess around to much with your powers until you find a teacher, an untrained magi wielding her powers unsupervised can do tremendous damage

Elizabeth: Dragon Bond- I've heard about that. That's when a human and a dragon create a bond between them, even closer than brothers, almost as if they are one being, right?
*Gaius nods*
Elizabeth: I've heard that the human will end up with the bodypart of a dragon. Is that true?

Gaius: well it depends on what issue your talking about, you see there's alot going on to make people very nervous, the most current of those would be my recent nash'ti ka'chi or Dragon Bond was what all the recent roaring, sounds of mortal combat, screaming and in some corners betting was all about. The big issue that really has everyone worried however is that malevolent dark beings known as "shades" have returned to ravage the earth again. The reason that you see so many creatures in the hall is that all races and nations except the normal humans have sent representatives to decided how to deal with this threat.

that's just about everything, do you have any more questions or does that clear things up? *gaius sneezes flame out of his nose immolating a small towel* eh a realise it may be late to ask but do you mind if I smoke? I don't really have a choice right now you see.

Elizabeth and crystal have spent much of the last few days in their rooms. A few times they went out exploring the castle. Soon they realized that there was something important going on at the calste. They saw all sorts of creatures, some they couldn't even begin to guess what they were.

The girls had just gotten back from one of these explorations of the castle and were relaxing in there room, making guesses at what might be going on in the castle around them, and what had happened to Shawn and Gaius. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. They heard Guias.

Elizabeth gets up to answer the door.

Elizabeth: Yes, of course, come sit down
Gaius: So how have you girls been faring at the castle?
Elizabeth: Fine, but I have a few questions.
Gaius: Ask away, by now you're more than diserving of answers
Elizabeth: Alright, For starters-Umm what exactly is going on here? We have been around the castle some, and seen more people than I can count. Everyone seems a bit nervous about something. What's goiing on?

Gaius*thinking*: what a time to be having a flash back *ducks a jet of flame* I hope the girls are all right *dodges a giant claw and counter attacks with a flame spell* if they get caught up in this mess I'll never forgive mysel...an opening! *Gaius stabs his blade stopping it inches from Claw's Heart8
Gaius: BROTHER! THIS CONTEST IS AT AN END! *ROARS*
Claw: SO IT IS BROTHER!
Both: IN THE ANCIENT WAY OF HEAT AND COMBAT MAY TWO BECOME ONE! AS TIN AND COPPER BECOME BRONZE!
*A Bright Light Flashs Blinding everyone in the for several miles and as the light fades a great roar fills the skys and the creatures of earth tramble at the sound of the birth of a new Dragon/Rider Pair*

*30 Minutes Later as claw rests in the dragon hold Gaius seeks out his companions and friends*

*note from this point on Gaius is no longer cloaked and has sharp storm cloud gray eyes with a dragon's pupil (verticle slit)every other feature is slightly on the handsome side with close cropped brown hair, the rest of Gaius's general apppearnce is Dragon styled full armor, which includes a dragon head shaped helmet, when out of combat asume gaius is not wearing it, also Gaius has now gained a pair of dragon wings which are concealed under a cape*

Gaius: Malus my friend how did everyone weather the storm?
Malus: in good condition with minimal injuries beyond a few bleeding ears
Gaius: Excellent, and shawn and shadow?
Malus: wandered off for some more alone time after it was finished
Gaius: Malus Claw says to tell you that despite not having held dragons for a millenia your hold is very nice
Malus: relay to him that it is a pleasure to have a dragon there once again
Gaius: Done my friend, Also claw reminds me to ask what has become of the lady magi I brought when I came here with shawn
Malus: still in their quarters as far as I know
Gaius*while walking off*: well I'd best go check and see if they're okay

*two minutes and a few flights of stairs later
*Knock, Knock*
Gaius: Girls can I come in? It's Gaius

Out of Character- Holy crap this is good. I couldn't stop reading it. I'm so far beheind on everything. I might never be able to go on vacation again...

I can't even figure out where to start...

In Character- Crystal and I are still sitting in the hotel room. It's gotten dark and a storm has rolled in. There is loud rain and thunder. Crysral is reading a book, I'm in a corner, trying to experement with my powers some. They're still pretty shakey, when I can get the to word at all. That is when they're not out of controll. I turn to crystal

Elizabeth: Shawn's been gone for a long time, don't you think?
Crystal: Well he said not to worry, I'm sure he's fine, incase you didn't notice the guy's a werewolf
Elizabeth:yeah, I guess

I turn back to the wall and continue messing around with my powers. Now I am working on making lights. They are small. Only about 1/2 an inch around. If I concentrate I can hold them for a few minnutes before the go out. Suddenly there is a loud crash of thunder, it startles me and somehow I must have fed more power into the light. It got huge, probably 5 feet in diamiter. I can't stop staring at this light. That's a lot of power, and I can hold it too. Now of course I don't know how I did it in the first place, but...

My thought is cut off. There is a loud knocking at the door. Persistant, they haven't stoped. I shake myself from my ponders and go answer the door. Standing in the doorway is a man. He is tall. A flash of lightning lights up the night sky. The man is wearing a dark cloak. The hood is up, it completly covers his features.

Elizabeth: Hi can I help you?
Gaius: Yeah, are you Elizabeth
E: Yeah, how did you know that?
G: Hey, first can I come in? It's freezing out here.
E: Y-yeah, of course
G: Your far too trusting for your own good girl, but now it works in my favor
E: Who are you?
Gaius enters the hotel room
G: My name is Gaius, I know this sounds a bit strange, but you have to beleive me. You're in danger. I'm a friend of Shawn. I know somewhere safe you can go, but you have to come with me.
E: Why should I beleive you? If you and Shawn are shuch tight friends then why didn't he come with you?
G: Shawn's in the middle of a previous engagement, but you can see him where we're going. And as to why you should trust me? Well, you have no other choice. Shawn's not coming back here.
E: Alright, I'll go get Crystal

Elizabeth steps into the other room

Crystal: Who was at the door?
Elizabeth: He said his name was Gaius, he's a friend of Shawn's
C: what did he want?
E: He said we have to come with him
C: What? Why? How do you know we can trust him?
E: Something happened to Shawn. We can trust him. I get these...I don't know... Vibes I guess, about people. He has a...weird... vibe accualy, but he is telling the truth.
C: I still don't like this
E: don't you get it, we have no choice!
C: Fine
E: Grab your stuff

The two girls gather their things, then go back to Gaius.

Elizabeh: OK We're ready
Gaius: Good, lets go. You might want to stand back

Gaius closes his eyes and raises his arms There is a flash. Suddenly, what appears to be a doorway appears.

E: How did you do that?
G: I've learned a lot over the years, thats just some simple magic
E: Simple, great
G: Lets go

Gaius steps through the doorway and looks beheind, waiting for the girls to follow. Elizabeth shrugs and follows. After a moment Crystal follows.

They have ended up in a large room. It is luxuriously furnished with thick carpets and overstuffed couches.

G: Welcome to your room girls. I trust this will work for you. The beds are through that door there.

He points to a door across the room.

E: Umm.. OK Can I ask just where we are?
G: Right, of course. You are at the Castle of the Grand Council. As head of the Grand Council you are my honored guest. Just ring that bell, and servants will come to assist you. In the meantime, these two can help you to freshen up.

Gaius turns and walks towards the door.

E: Wait! You still haven't told us whats going on!
G: I'm sorry, but now I must go. I promise I will explain later.

With that Giaus turns and leaves.

The two servants approach the girls.

one of them speaks to them "Hello, my name is sarah, and this is Mary. We will help you with anything you need during you stay. Lets start by getting you cleaned up. We have baths drawn for you in the other room."

The girls got in the baths, and then got dressed.

Sarah: You girls can explor the castle if you like. It might be a while before Gaius returns.

Out of charachter- Alright, I'm beat. I'll do more later

*Gaius flaps his wings resting at about 5000 feet off the ground and lets loose a mighty roar*
*a few minutes later his challenge is awnsered by a roar coming out of the sun, the inhabitants of the castle watch in awe as High Fang Claw comes flying out of the sun at blazing speeds, in minutes he's engaged in fang and claw combat with gaius both prepared to go on for days*

"Well no reason to miss the show!"
I transform again, grab Shadow in my left arm, & begin climbing up the castle to the balcony. We reach the balcony & I revert back to human form.
"Ok Gaius, lets see whats up."

Well Shawn those beasts will not bother you again as to whats going on with me...I reccomend you go to a high balcony on the west side of the fortress as the sunset comes you will see the finale of what I've been doing for the past few weeks...

*a Roar is heard across the country side*
actually go there now
*Gaius flys off towards the dragon gate to go forth to the battle that will complete the dragon bond*
*Malus in his chambers calls for an aide and yells*: Get some one up their to open the dragon gate so Gaius can get out! Do It NOW!
*the aide flees the room heading up to open the dragon gate*

I awaken still in my transformed state. I roar angrily & look around for my attackers. How could they have beaten me?! Wait. I notice that they've run off in fear & it's only me Shadow & Gaius standing there. I revert back to human form. I grab my ears in pain. My eardrums feel as though they've exploded.
"What the fuck was that noise?! Where did those 3 cowards run off to?! Why is Gaius wearing that armor?! What did I miss?!"

*Gaius appears in a mighty armor shaped in the scales of dragon holding a dragin fang sword, with a pair of wings sprouting from his back*

Gaius*ROARS*"ENOUGH HIS PATH IS HIS CHOICE, NOT YOURS RESPECT THE WISHES OF YOUR HIGH FANG AND BE GONE FROM MY SIGHT!"
*the werebests flee wimpering*
Gaius: Shadow you can fight to you know, you don't have to cater to shawn's hyper-masculinity that forces him to think all females must be defended
Shadow: I know but let him have his illusions
Gaius*lands and walks over to shawn* I'm afrain my roar knocked him unconcious his ears are much more sensitive than that of most werebeasts *performs a healing spell* that should wake him up...

out of character: well, your wereliverwort is still off in the forest somewhere not wanting to distract her real personality from computer programming. i'll jump in at some point.

I stop kissing Shadow abruptly because I hear footsteps behind me. I turn to see that 3 of my "fellow" Werebeasts are standing there, & they do not look like they wanna chat.
"Well I guess that I'm done with my bath."
I jump out of the pool, shake my head & throw my hair back. I take a sniff.
"A Werebear Wereleopard & Weresnake huh? What do you guys want?"
The Weresnake walks up.
????: "Hello Silverfang. I am Jadetongue. We here that you have revoked your reinstatement to the clans. Is this correct?"
Shawn: "Yeah. What of it?"
Jadetongue: "While that is your decision to make, I can't allow a 'Lone Wolf' to muck up a millenium of tradition, & any chance for us Werebeasts to survive the coming war."
Shawn: "So, you got a bone to pick with me too huh? Fine then..."
I transform.
Shawn: "...BRING IT ON!"
Jadetongue: "So be it! Blackpaw, Wildspot, let's go!"
They transform.
Shadow looks on in terror.
