Elizibeth and I are sitting in the side car. We'd long given up trying to have a conversation, for we could barely hear each other over the roar of the motercycle. Alas, we sit, not talking. But I am thinking, thinking about what is to come, thinking about what is past, thinking about anything that crosses my mind. I zone out....into my own world, which I always do when I am deep in thought. I am startled when we hit a rock and nearly tip over, but we are ok. I pull a shiny blue rock out of my leather bag. My best friend gave it to me long ago. She told me that with that rock, I could never be lost. With that rock, I'd always find the way. And I've kept it with me ever since. I hold it tight, for I always feel as though I have a part of her with me when I hold that rock, guiding me and helping me through. I sit, and I think...
And I would never feel pain / and never be without pleasure, ever, again / and if the reign stops, and everything's dry, he would cry just so I could drink the tears from his eyes...

Official Title: Rhizoid of the House of Eggplant and Final Heir to the Order of the Palladium Kiwi Spoon Sex: Female, with a very androgynous appearence in human form, alternating generations between asexual/sexual diploidic hermaphroditic in moss form Age: chronologically 87 but fixed biologically at 23 Eyes: gray, with a slight hint of green Hair: short and badly cropped, dark brown with streaks of gray Height: 5'4" Weight: 130 Skin: windburnt, toughened from running through bramble, racially ambiguous Body: muscled, not a lot of curves Clothes: black ankle-height boots, dark gray canvas pants, dark tan tunic over a long sleeved hooded gray canvas shirt with a narrow green webbing belt at the waist. Hood is always up. a long palladium kiwi spoon, hangs from the belt. a chain mail hobark with a hood is worn during battle. also carries a leather throwing sling with a pouch of rocks, a long yew bow, and a quiver of goose-fletched arrows. History: Rhizoid, as her name inplies, is capable of turning at will into a liverwort. This power, while excellent for camouflage, is naturally utterly useless in a combat situation as her clothing is left behind, indicating where she is. The power has no purpose whatsoever except that liverworts are cool as shit. She always carries a kiwi spoon - an instrument that is half spoon, half serrated knife, on her belt. this is also almost useless in battle, as palladium is the softest and least dense of the transitional metals, but to make up for it, she is an excellent archer and sling thrower. My history would be more creative if the computer lab wasn't about to close.

I get into the side car with crystal and the huge dog, Frank I think he is called. "ST. Louis, hmm I've never been there, have you, Crystal? Accually I've never been much of anywhere." The motor cylcle starts and we speed off. It is loud, Crystal tries to respond, but its too noisy. With a shrug we give up trying to have a conversation. I grab a big purse i had with me. I rummage around. After pulling out several rrandom things, A notebook, a pillow, a flash light, I finally end up with a book. I shove everything else into the bag, and open the book.
It must be lovely to wake up in the morning and understand everything.

The 3 girls come outside. I have just finished my meal so I'm a little at ease. The dark scents of the city just keep getting more & more intense as the night drags on. I smell black magic of all sorts in the air, as well as the blood-stained weaponry of several warriors that I plan to never have to face. I have enough bounties on my head as is. I also smell...Vampires. I take in another big whiff to make sure. Yes, it is definately Vampires. I recognize their stench anywhere, even on a night like tonight. Frank also smells them & starts to worry. Frank: "Oh shit man! They're here too! Do you smell 'em? Tell me you smell 'em!" Shawn: "Yes I smell them. Do not panic, they'll sense that. We're leaving now." Frank: "About damn time!" Frank & the 2 sorceresses get into the sidecar while Violet hops on behind me. The motor roars & we speed off. "On to St. Louis."

(You people need to put a lot more effort into your posts. It is hard to respond to one-liners.) Jenos was walking calmly down the way, chilling thoughts of the somber events upcoming and past drifting lazily inside his head. His hands were shoved unceremoniously inside the pockets of his loose-fitting trousers, his cloak wrapped tightly about him, the cowl up to keep out the wetness and chill of the rain. The cool rain of the evening coated his leather boots in a thick shimmering layer of moisture, small drops pattering on the shined leather, bouncing off to the silent melody of the unheard voice of death. It was the darkening that called his name, that beckoned him to venture forth into the wild beyond. The sheer volume of black was enough to intimidate even the most lion-hearted of men in the past, but yet Jenos didn't feel any less close to it than he was his father. His father, the man he was in search of. The object of his obsession for the last several years. He had searched all of the countryside for him to no avail, and it was partly the reason he was here as it was. The other, was of course playing the part of Knight of Aslangrad. And it was to Jenos' fortune that the Knighthood knew that the human was a slave of his own passions. He would never reveal this information to anybody that he thought could use it against him, and for knights of Aslangrad, the possibility was higher than he would like to admit. Jenos stood expressionless as he stopped in front of a store, his cloak still wrapped tightly around him in a failing attempt to keep his body and clothes underneath warm and dry. The rain ran rivulets down the wool cloak, dripping harmlessly onto the grass underneath. He sensed danger from within the confines of the brick exterior, and he clenched his fists. He was always ready to protect himself, it seemed. Even from the harmless. Well, that is what the ones who could do the most harm appear to be - harmless. And this was the reason Jenos was almost always so cautious with as to whom he addressed and concerning what he spoke to them about. This especially concerned females, as it was his mother that caused him the most harm. Unfortunate though it was, it gave Jenos a rather interesting and different view of life. The tune that was often stuck in his head was the song that most repulsed him, of the music box his father had given his mother before he left them. And this was the very father he was searching for. He truly believed at one point that his father left to protect him from harm, when in fact the opposite was true. The man was selfish and self-absorbed, and left only to protect himself. But the young man that now stood in the wet, dark, and cold shadow of the store before him knew that he had to find his father and lay him to rest for the wrongs he had caused him and his mother. It was justice, albeit a dark and twisted form, that he seeked. And he would have his time. He entered the store, the bell on the door jingling happily, a harsh contrast to his mood. Upon entering he saw several people milling about, some leaving behind him. That sense of danger still did not leave him, and he did not know why. His eyes moving circles around the room, he stepped in and quickly examined the participants. They appeared to serve no threat. He walked up to the refrigerated section and grabbed a red soft drink. He headed towards the door and threw a five-dollar bill on the counter in front of the clerk. "Keep the change."
I like these calm little moments before the storm.

"Alright? If by alright you mean that within the last month I have discovered magical powers, been chased from my village, and that within the night I have ended up lost in a strange city, met a werewolf, a warrior of some sort, and 2 witches? Then yes I'm fine." "I guess I might as well start introductions. I'm Elizabeth"

"Weird dude." I walk back inside the store. "If you 3 girls want to come with us than hurry it up." Goes back outside & sits on Harley. Frank walks up. Because of my wolf powers I can speak with dogs just like I can with humans. Frank: "What was that guy's deal?" Shawn: "I have no idea." Frank: "...& what is the deal with you & that purple-haired girl?" Shawn: "You got a lot of questions tonight huh?" Frank: "Well excuse me for being left in the dark! Seriously now, you got another love connection?" Shawn: "No way! She's just helping me do some reseach, & she's a friend. Besides, you know that I got a thing for Shadow." Frank: "Then why haven't you said anything to her?" Shawn: "Because I can't! She's a Vampire, I'm a Werewolf. It would never work." Frank: "Love finds a way. At least that's what my uncle used to say." Shawn: "Whatever. Hand me some of that meat." I take the raw meat from Frank & start eating it.

Heh you smell that do you? That's not me you smell but the blood of a man I met once *eyes go far away* a very, very long time ago. His blood still stains a piece of my armor and it can never come off. Any way where I am going you cannot follow, for only a select few from that outside world can walk the mists of avalon and live. I am allowed because I have proved benefical to those there and they could not stop me if they wanted to. But I think we shall see each other again leave a message for me in St. Louis if you move on before I arrive, I can track better than many werewolves so if you point me in the right direction I will find you lot again. *gaius leaps on to the roof and quickly vanishes from sight*

"Thanks for the warning, but you obviously haven't seen how much I can survive. Lets not part ways just yet. I have business in St. Louis but I can tag along with you for a little while. I can smell a holy scent coming from you, in which case you may just be able to help me out. Besides, I'm sure that I can find a way to repay you for taking out that hunter."

*as Gaius finishes his purchases and wanders out side, suddenly a flash of light emanates from his fist. [hmmm that's not good someone has come within a hundred miles of the spear and the ring is warning me...I'll have to head to Avalon immediatly, hopefully the druids will run them off first...but I must be certain] This is where we part ways wolf I have buisness else where, Know this if I detect you back tracking a silver arrow is just as effective as a silver bullet. Also you may want to introduce your purpel haired friend to the magi, she has the look of a magician about her

Looks around. "Follow me *motions toward back of store*. Don't mind them. The two girls are too scared of me & everything thats happened tonight to talk right now, & the warrior is just here to buy some supplies. Anyway, I need you to do some research on this symbol *holds up an amulet*. It apparently belongs to an old witch doctor in St. Louis who might be able to help me get this damn chain off my neck."
