Wink: "I'll go dance over there."
Wink heads closer to where the DJ is. Alex & Liz start dancing very close & fast.

Shawn enters Gray Lizard's tent & sits down infian style.
Gray Lizard: "Welcome back. You have grown much stronger. I'm pleased."
Shawn: "Thanks. Thanks for all of your training. Because of everything that you put me through I feel, I dunno, internally empowered or something."
Gray Lizard: "Its called "ascending". It means that your spirit has grown as much as it probably will until you finally die."
Shawn: "So now what?"
Gray Lizard: "You remove that chain."
Shawn: "How?"
Gray Lizard: "Simple. Just grab it & pull it off."
Shawn: "Thats it?!?!"
Gray Lizard: "Yes. Now that you have ascended you have the strength to do so. Pull it off."
Shawn grabbed onto the chain firmly, took a deep breath, & pulled it off. The second he pulled it off, his eyes glowed silver & light swirled around him, & he howled louder than he ever did before. He howled so loud in fact, that everyone in the bar where Shadow & Frank were heard him.
Feank: "Damn!"

OC: I hate it when I can't come up with anything intelegent to post.

IC: Wink grabs Liz and they start working their way towards the DJ. The girls start dancing.
Wink: Can I guess that from the grin thats been on your face all night you and Alex 'talked'
Liz blushes.
Liz: Yeah, we 'talked'
Alex walks up beheind the girls.
Alex: Mind if I cut in?

????: "Wake up!"
Shawn wakes up startled to see a new masked figure in place of the Kachina Of The Healing Moon. He also notices that he is now out of the cave & is lying in the sand by Gray Lizard's tent. He gets up & stares the figure in the face.
Shawn: "Who are you?"
????: "I am the Kachina Of The Howling Wolf."
Shawn sniffs the air.
Shawn: "Really? Last time we met your name was Gray Wolf."
The kachina removes his mask to reveal that he is indead Gray Wolf.
????: "I am pleasantly surprised Shawn. I didn't expect you to mature that quickly. The fact that you could see the other kachinas & who I was means that you have successfully ascended. Well done."
Shawn: "Thanks. So what exactly are you? I smell a couple of different aromas off of you."
Gray Wolf: "I was a human of the same tribe as Gray Lizard. I trained with him & the other elders & learned the shaman ways. Then one of your kind turned me. I became a werewolf. I went through the training you did & more, eventually ascending far further spiritually than both you & Gray Lizard. I now stand before you a full-fledged kachina, but I still am a werewolf. I am also your last test."
Shawn: "That all explains alot. Ok. What is your test for me?"
Gray Wolf: "My test is something that you will relate to better than the other tests. You will battle me in a contest of werewolves. If you can defeat me, then you will definatelly be able to control your powers once you remove your chain. Are you ready?"
Shawn: "Ready as ever!"
The two men transform into werewolves & attack eachother.

Before they head out they notice scribbled on the bottom left corner of the note "BRING SWIM SUITS". Alex showers, freshly shaves his head & face, & gets into a pair of swimming trunks with flames on them. Liz showers, ties her hair back, & gets into a green bikini. The two of them head out to the address; it was at a small hotel that was rented out by the Gamma Gamma Phi Fraternity & the Kappa Phi Betta Sorority, called The Gator's Head. The scene was full of beer kegs, half naked partiers, loud music coming from a live DJ, & a large pool. Ben was serving beer at one of the keg(thankfully he was only missing his shirt), Zeig & Kunga (who both were still naked, go figure) were having a drinking match with a few frat boys, & Verka (who was in a speedo) was dancing with two goth sorority girls. Wink (who was wearing a bikini the same style & color as Liz's) ran up to the two of them.
Wink: "Oh my god! Where have you been? Come on! You're missing the party! Come on girl *grabbing Liz by the arm* lets go dance for them!"
The two of them start dancing up by the DJ.

Two hours later Liz lying with her head on Alex's chest. He has his arm around her shoulders.
Alex: The others will be back soon, we should get up
Liz props herself up on her elbow, making shure Alex got a good look.
Liz: Really?
Liz kisses him on the neck
Liz: I don't think they'll miss us.
Liz kisses him again, working whe way down his neck, her hands running over his shoulders. Soon Alex catches her hands, playfully ruff.
Alex: Damn girl, your far too good at this

An hour later Liz and Alex finaly get down to the kitchen. They find a note on the fridge.

We figured it best not to disturb you two. Leftovers are in the fridge. Wink heard about a great party tonight, join us there if you're up for it.

At the bottom of the note there was an address.
Alex: You up for a party?

Alex & Liz walk to one of the rooms. They kiss & go inside, locking the door behind them. They know that they will have a few hours of "alone time" before everyone gets back.

Shawn reaches a new area of the cave. There he meets a new kachina.
????: "Welcome wolfling. You look tired."
Shawn: "Whatever. Just tell me who you are & what your test is for me so I can keep going."
????: "Do not be so hasty. I am the Kachina Of The Healing Moon. My test is simple. You are to sleep on that bed there. *points to a bed made of bear fur in the corner* As you sleep you must confront your troubles in a dream while your body rests. That is all."
Shawn: "Thats it? I just need to sleep? Thats music to my fucking ears!"
Shawn crawls into the bed & dozes off within a couple of minutes.
Kachina Of The Healing Moon: "Sleep well."

Liz: Yeah. I guess we do...
Alex: You seem nervous
Liz: No! Well... yeah. A little
Alex: You know I'd never do something you weren't ok with.
Liz: Yeah
Alex smiles at Liz and kisses her.

Kachina Of The Burning Sun: "Your test is this. You must fill the small basins at the end of each point of the sun room with water from the larger basin using this bowl. *hands Shawn a small round pottery bowl* You must do this as the flames grow higher. Can you take the heat?"
Just then the basins all appear at the points & a large basin appears on a circular spinning platform in the very middle of the sun-shaped room. Flames then appear at the ends of the room. Shawn leeped onto the spinning platform & tried to fill the bowl but the spinning made it keep spilling, & the flames kept getting bigger. He then lifted the entire large basin up & leeped off the platform with it. He walked through the fire & filled each small basin with the bowl as directed.
Kachina Of The Burning Sun: "Well done."
The room returns to the way it was.
Kachina Of The Burning Sun: "You have shown true endurence so you may go forward. May the moon welcome you."
The kachina disappeared & a doorway opened at the end of the room. Shawn continued on.

The ship made port at the plantation in record time & everyone that wasn't a ghost walked onto the dock. Liz, Alex, Zeig, Kunga, Verka, Ben, Wink, & Kamuy all walked into the house.
Wink: "Nice. In desparate need of a dusting, but nice."
Alex: "Nice? With our rag-tag group its heaven."
Zeig: "It'll be the perfect spot to make port from now on."
Verka: "Aye aye to that!"
Kunga: "Booga! Lets celebrate by dancing!"
Alex: "No! No no no! No more dancing! Please!"
Kunga: "Oh booga. Fine."
Ben: "Well, I'm gonna go out & buy ingredients for dinner tonight. In that kitchen I can cook till I drop."
Ben left.
Verka: "We're gonna go search out the local bars."
Zeig: "Aye aye to that! Kunga, are ye com'n?"
Kunga: "Booga! Yes!"
The three of them leave.
Wink: "--& I'm going to go enjoy the spring break scene. Do some shopping, do some dancing, do some tanning. The works. Come on Kamuy, maybe we can get you a bath & a new collar."
Her & Kamuy leave. Alex looks at Liz & smiles.
Alex: "I guess that means we have the house to ourselves."

Liz: I think I could do that
Alex: I'll see you tonight, now, I have to go
Liz: Where are you going?
Alex: We're going to have to land soon
Liz: I've been wondering where we were planning to land a pirate ship in Flordia?
Alex: Well, there we have dear Uncle Giaus to thank. He has a plantation on the coast. Wonderful landing spot. House isn't bad either
Liz: Oh yeah?
Alex: 120 rooms
Liz: Not bad at all
Alex gives Liz one last kiss
Alex: I'll see you tonight

Shawn has now reached a part of the cave that is a room with a floor shaped like the sun. Here he meets another masked figure.
????: "Welcome wolfling."
Shawn: "What kachina are you?"
????: "I am the Kachina Of The Burning Sun. I have come to test your ability for endurance. If you can pass my test, a test of stamina, then I will show the way to your next trial. If you cannot, then may my flames burn your body to match your spirit."
Shawn: "Alright. I accept your challenge. Name the game."

Alex kisses her back. They stand there kissing for a few minutes.
Alex: "So! I guess that was something that you'd wanted to do for awhile?"
Liz: "Yeah."
She kisses him again.
Alex: "You do know about the rules on getting involved with your instructer?"
Liz: "Yes, & I don't care."
Alex: "Ok. If you're sure."
He kisses her. They stand there making out for a few more minutes.
Alex: "What say you come to my quarters tonight?"

Liz(to herself): Show him. She makes it sound like its so easy
Liz spends several minnutes pacing back and forth across her room untill she finnally comes to a conclusion. Liz takes a breath and heads down to the cargo hold where Alex and Kunga are.
Kunga sees Liz come in.
Kunga: I have to go.
Alex: Why? What do you have to do?
Kunga: Um... I just have to go
Alex turns and sees Liz
Alex: Oh hi
Liz: Hi
Alex: so... How did you're lesson with Wink go?
Liz: She was right
Alex: About what
Liz: this...
Liz crosses the room and kisses Alex on the lips.

Wink: "Alex Cray does have his charm. I'll give him that much. He was always too much of a hot head for me though. I hate men with tempers. You never know when they are going to go & do something incredibly stupid. My advice to you, tell him. Tell him exactly how you feel, or better yet, show him. But make him really know. Otherwise, he'll keep denying that there is anything between you two until hell freezes over again."
Liz: "Again?!"
Wink: "Long story, don't ask. If you need me I'll be in my room reading."
With that her & Kamuy headed to her quarters.

Liz: I don't know, he's different. I'm so confused. I've fallen for guys before but this is just... different. I know it sounds crazy but I think I'm falling in love with him.
Wink shakes her head
Liz: I know its crazy, but I can't help it...

An angry Alex is pacing around the cargo hold muttering to himself. Kunga chants four words & waves his hands & Alex's feet freeze.
Alex: "Hey!"
Kunga: "If master no stop pacing, then Kunga no can help with artifacts. Booga?"
Alex: "I get it. Now please un-freeze me."
Kunga chants a word & Alex's feet can move again.
Kunga: "Ok. The Kundin-Ju (the name of the set of artifacts) give you power over souls. You can steal magic powers from the souls of other magic users. A good ability, but can become too powerful if misused. Understand?"
Alex: "Yeah yeah. I've been given the whole "misuse of power" speach before about other items. Just tell me how to control them so I'm not constantly sucking energy out of everything around me."
Kunga: "Booga booga booga! Here is fun part! We must dance!"
Alex: "Dance?"
Kunga: "Yes! Dance! I will now teach you the Dance Of Kundin-Ju! Booga!"
The two of them start dancing an odd ancient dance while chanting. While they are dancing, the mask & staff from the set appear on Alex's face & in his hand.
Wink hears this going on.
Wink: "Well, since they're busy lets continue this girl talk. You said most teachers are older than Alex, but do you really know how old he is?"
Liz: "No."
Wink: "The body he has now is only 26, but his soul is extremely aged. There was a short point in time when he actually "passed on", during which time his soul actually got aged several hundred years, even though in our time it was only a matter of weeks. I guess the time flow is different in the spirit realm. So anyways, tell me about how you feel about him, & I mean really feel."

Kachina Of The Crying Coyote: "My test is simple. You will decend this walkway until you hear the sound of a wimpering coyote in the dark. You must find her & bring her to me. Will you find her, or will you both be lost in the darkness forever? Use your instincts wisely."
Shawn listens carefully & hears the wimpering of a young coyote coming from down in the dark recesses of the trail. He closes his eyes & walks down. He is gone no more than three minutes when he comes walking back with the coyote in his arms.
Kachina Of The Crying Coyote: "Well done."
The coyote disappears with a howl.
Kachina Of The Crying Coyote: "You may pass, & take this clue with you. The stars will lead you to the sun, the sun will lead you to the moon, & the moon will bring you to the wolf."
With that the kachina also vanished, & the once dark pathway now was lit up by star shaped torches. Shawn continued through the cave.

Liz: What about?
Wink: You and Alex
Liz turns bright red, but can't stop smiling
Wink: As soon as you want to stop blushing...
Liz: Sorry
Wink: You do realise that by dating you're teacher, you're in contempt of several magi laws?
Liz: Really?
Wink: Really.
Liz: Yeah, but most students are a lot younger than I am, and most teachers are older than Alex. Besides, you dated Alex.
Wink: Not while I was a student.
Liz: Oh. But, I don't know how to explain it... With Alex... Its just different
Wink sighs
Wink: I just wanted you to realise what you're getting yourself into
Liz: I do.

Alex touches her on the arm.
Alex: "Please promise me that you won't use the medallian without me there, ok? I don't know what I'd do if you ever left me like that."
Liz looks at him with a shocked smile & blushes a little. Alex, immediately realizing what he said, pulls his arm away from hers quickly & tries to come up with an excuse.
Alex: "I uh...uh...what I mean is...you uh, keep me alert & ready. You make me work hard as a teacher. You keep me on my toes, & I need that sometimes. Yeah."
He turns & heads out of the cabin quickly, passing Wink who had been watching the whole thing.
Wink: "Smooth one, playboy."
Alex: "Oh shut up!! Kunga! Come help me learn how to use these things (refering to his artifacts)!"
Kunga: "Booga booga! Coming master!"
Alex storms down to the cargo hold followed by a franticly running Kunga. Wink just shakes her head & laughs. Liz is now frowning while blushing, now feeling extremely embarrased.
Wink: "Girl, we need to talk."

Liz tries to concentrate, but she's still shaken from her mistake. The thought of loosing her soul made her a bit nervous to use the medalion. Finally she manages to get a flame of mortal fire.
Alex: Good, now just see how long you can hold it.
Liz holds the ball for a while, but it soon goes out.
Alex: That was good. In time you'll get better at controling which realm you draw the fire from. For now, just don't use the medalion unless I'm there. Getting lost without someone to pull you back can be dangerous.
