Alex: "Not again!"
Alex uses the powers of his artifacts to put her soul back into her body again. She wakes up with a gasp. Alex shakes his head.
Alex: "Let me explain how the medallian works. Wink taught you about the elements right?"
Liz: "Yes."
Alex: "Ok. The medallian helps focus your fire mana so you can control fire better. But it also gives you the power to summon fire from all four realms: mortal, angelic, demonic, & spiritual. The only drawback is that you need to be adept enough with mana control to be able to control each of the flames you are using. If you can't control them all then the strain will be too much for your soul, & when you try to use the fire your soul will go with it. Your problem is that each time you use the medallian, without meaning to, you try to control all of the fires at once & you can't take the strain yet. If you're ever going to master this, then you need to concentrate on using only mortal fire for now. Now just relax & concentrate. Think only about regular, match-born fire, & try controling a small ball for a little while. Now come on. I know you can do it."

Alex: Using the medallian is easy, but can be tricky when you don't know what you're doing. You have to be careful.
Liz: Alright
Alex: Reach out towards the medallian, through it.
Liz nervously does as Alex instructs.
Alex: Good. Now try using the fire.
Liz concentrates, but suddenly falls back unconcious.

Morgaine: thank you, my lady. Without your help, our beautiful Isle would have been lost.
Aya: It was not a problem.
M: is there anything I can do to repay you?
A: I have been curious about this place, ever since I heard that this was the location my father chose to hide his spear...
M: Of course... Allow me to give you the grand tour.

Liz: Do you think I could stand a chance?
Alex: With your natural talent, by the time I teach you how to use the medallian you would most definatly stand a chance.

Alex: "Alright. Now a real test. Lets see if that medallian I gave you has helped in your mastery over fire. I say we have a fire dual."

Shawn now reaches a part of the cave that is shaped like a spiraling staircase going downward; only it is pitch black dark. Now he is confronted by another figure; this one also is humanoid with a mask on.
????: "Welcome wolfling."
Shawn: "Let me guess...you're another kachina."
????: "You are correct. I am the Kachina Of The Crying Coyote. I've come to test your ability for courage. If you can pass my test, a test of heart, then you may go forward. If you cannot, then you will be doomed to wander this darkness forever."
Shawn: "Alright. I accept your challenge. Name the game."

Liz goes on to show Alex all 6 elements. Water and light are her strongest, but the others are all impressive.
Alex: I don't know weather to be upset or glad that wink taught you in a day what I've been trying to for weeks.
Wink: I'd say be glad
Alex: I guess so... Liz why don't you stick around, and we'll practice some more, the rest of you can go.
Liz stays seated and the rest get up and leave.

Alex: "Impressive! Wink, I see you haven't lost your touch! Ok. Now show me what you can do with the other 5 elements."

Kachina Of The Dancing Snakes: "The test is simple. You must find a way to convince my snakes to attack me. The task is only as dangerous as you make it."
Shawn reaches into the pouch that Gray Lizard gave him & pulls out a small knife. He carves the symbol for the snake into his left arm. He then grabs a snake that has slithered up the ledge, kills it, wipes some of his blood on it's carcass, & throws it at the feet of the kachina. He then hisses loudly like a snake, shows his arm to the snakes in the pit, & points at the kachina. Every snake in the area slithers up & attacks the kachina. The kachina waves his hand & all the snakes disappear.
Kachina Of The Dancing Snakes: "Well done. You may pass."
The kachina disappears as well, & Shawn runs off further into the cave.

Liz: Thats quite a bit
Wink: Start with light. Thats your strongest.
Alex: Stronger then the water?
Wink: Incredible, isn't it?
I close my eyes and focus as Wink taught me. I find the light and imagine it bending to my will. I open my eyes and find I now have 6 spheres of light in front of me. One red, one blue, one yellow, one green, one orange, and one purple.
Alex: Impressive
Wink: You haven't seen anything
This is where it got tricky. I focus. The balls form in a circle before me. I slowly pick one up, then another, then a third. I start to juggle them. One by one I add the rest of the spheres. The result is amazing.
Alex: Wow. Looks like you and Wink worked hard.

Alex, Liz, Wink, Kunga, & Kamuy all go into Alex's cabin. Kamuy goes & lies down in a cornor, while Kunga goes & sits on a nightstand.
Alex: "Ok. Lets see a demonstration. Show me what you've learned."

Shawn has now reached a part of the cave that is a ledge directly over a deep pit full of snakes. Just then, a humanoid figure wearing a mask appears on the opposite side.
????: "Welcome wolfling."
Shawn: "Who the fuck are you?"
????: "I am the Kachina Of The Dancing Snakes. I've come to test your ability for cunning. If you can pass my test, a test of skill, then you may go forward. If you cannot, then you will fall victim to my venomous friends below."
Shawn: "Alright. I accept your challenge. Name the game."

Liz: How is Flordia civilized yet chaotic
Verka: Spring break, love
Alex: Liz, Get over here. Its time I see how much you learned with Wink. Wink you might as well come too
Wink and Liz head over, being followed bu Kamuy

Verka: "I say we go to Port Demonica."
Alex: "I say we go to Japan."
Ben: "I don't care where we go, as long as it ain't England."
Kunga: "Booga booga. I just want to help master (refering to Alex) learn how to use his artifacts."
Zeig: "Well I say we head somewheres civilized yet chaotic, where we can evade the Magi Police & Angelic Police, & where our magic users can practice while the rest of us relax. & since I'm the cap'n it'll be my decision we'll be following. We're goin' to Florida. What say ye?"
Everyone In Unision: "Aye!"

The ship just shoved off. Liz turns around and gasps at the site of a giant wolf on board.
Wink: Don't worry, thats just Kamuy.
Liz: Wink! You're here!
Wink: Yep, Alex asked me to come back and join the crew
Liz(dissapointed): oh
Wink: To help with your training, not because theres anything between him and me
Liz brightens up some.
Wink: So, any idea where we're headed?

--The next day--
Zeig: "Rise & shine! Get yer lazy arses up & on the ship!"
Zeig, Verka, Ben, Kunga, & Liz all get aboard. Alex awkwardly approaches Wink.
Alex: "So uh...Wink, would you mind..."
Wink: "Alex, you don't even have to say it cause I already know what you're gonna ask. You want me to come aboard the ship with you & help you coach Lizzie on her magic, but you're unsure about asking because of our past together. The answer's yes. On 2 conditions though; 1, I get my own cabin, & 2, my pet wolf Kamuy gets to come with."
Alex: "Neither are a problem, we've got plenty of room on the Dead Man's Chest."
Wink: "Good. Then I guess I'll see you on deck...shipmate."
She turns & heads to the ship & whistles. A big red wolf comes running up next to her. Alex shakes his head & boards as well.
Zeig: "Shove off lads!"

Shawn by this point is deep inside the cave of koyaanisqasi (a Hopi word meaning "chaos" or "life out of balance"). The cave is so full of twists & turns that it puts the labrynth of myth to shame. The only way to navigate your way through this cave is to be in touch with your animality (Ha ha! I automaticly get 10 points for a Mortal Kombat referance!), or to be an animal. Luckily for Shawn, he is both.

Shadow & Gray Wolf have been seen spending a lot of time alone, making Frank believe that perhaps Shadow has not been faithful to his master.

Liz and Wink shake there heads at the guys passed out at the table.
Liz: Well, it would be a shame to let all this rum go to waste...
Liz pulls up a chair to the table and grabs a bottle of rum lying on the table. Wink shakes her head, sits next to her, but doesn't drink.

By the time the girls get to the bar, everyone except Zeig & Verka is passed out drunk.
Zeig: "Drink up poppets! We can't let the rum go to waste."
Verka just drinks by himself, trying to deal with the pain he now feels.

Liz and Wink have now been to several bars in search of Alex, with no luck.
Liz: Wasn't that Verka
Wink: Where?
Liz: Walking into that bar over there
Wink: I should have guessed
Liz: What?
Wink: Thats the pub Ben works at
Liz: Who?
Wink: He used to be cook on The Dead Mans Chest
Liz: Hopefully he was better then the last cook

Liz and Wink head into the pub. They see Alex sitting at a table with Ben, Zeig, and Verka.

Wink: Whats that?
Liz: What?
Wink: That
She points at Kunga drinking out of a glass taller then he is.
Liz: Oh. Thats Kunga, I'm shure the gang would be more than happy to tell the story of how we found him
Wink: Thats for shure. One thing I know about Alex Cray is he never gets tired of talking about himself.

Between Vix, Kwai, & Aya, all but two of the demons attacking the castle are now dead. The two that remain are Zazama & Verka.
Verka: "We need to retreat."
Zazama: "The hell we are!"
Verka: "Zazama, your entire platoon has been decimated! There is no way we can stand up to that angel! Hell is not worth this much loyalty!"
Zazama: "Then why the hell did you join in the fray to begin with?!"
Verka: "Because of my promise! I was keeping my promise to you!"
Zazama: "You mean when you promised that if I ever became general you would fight with me in my first command mission?"
Verka: "Yes! We've fought together already & lost. Let's go back now, while we still can!"
Zazama: "No! A general of Hell never surrenders!"
Zazama ran head first at Aya & began attacking her franticly. She warded off each of his blows with her hand, & finally caught his sword & shattered it with her hand. He just looked at her tired & shocked while she looked at him with a cold blank stare. She then stuck out her open palm & shot him with a blast of holy light that incinerated him.
Verka just looked on with a tear in his eye. He put his swords away, & wiped away that tear.
Verka: *addressing Aya* "You win."
He then turned & walked away.
Vix: "Come on he's getting away!"
Aya: "Stop Vix! Let him go. His heart was never really in this battle."
Verka: *calling back* "Thank you, angel."
He started heading in the direction of the bar where Zeig, Kunga, Alex, & Ben were.
Verka: "I wonder what they're up to."

Wink and I had been working on my magic for hours now. I had managed, with varying levels of success, to controll all 6 elements.
Liz: Alex has been gone a long time, don't you think?
Wink: We should probably go look for him
Liz: Where do we start?
Wink: Knowing them, the nearest bar

Alex finaly walks into the bar where Zeig, Ben, & Kunga are all singing & drinking (the three of them are already quite drunk).
Ben: "Alex Cray! Its great to see ya!"
Alex: "You too Ben."
Zeig: "Hey mate, whats wrong? Ye look as sad as an oyster without his pearl."
Alex: *sighs* "I'm torn between two women that I can't have."
Ben: "I've heard that one before."
Zeig: "Cheer up mate! We are gett'n the ol' crew back together, & we've got us some mighty fine rum. Here *hands Alex a bottle* swig on that & all yer troubles will be gone with the wind!"
Alex: "Don't mind if I do."
He takes the bottle to the head, & starts singing with his 3 crew mates.
