That stands for High Test Scores Acknowledgement thread. I would like to make this thread for all the people out there who have been doing great on there test scores. And I figured that this could also be used as a test encouragement thread. If anyone feels worried or panicked about a test that's coming up then they can ask for advice or study tips here. So I would first like to start off by Congratulation Jenos on fantastic Chemistry Exam as well as his Calculas Exam. *claps* And I would also like to congratulate Yogore on his excellent test scores on his SAT Practice test. *claps again* Congratulations Guys! And everyone remember, there is no reason to panick about a test, that just makes it harder to concentrate. Just take your time and study hard and get lots of rest the night before. So good luck to everyone and remember to think positive

QUESTION: Is the PSAT worth taking is any way, shape or form? I ain't gonna take it anyways, but is there any real reason behind taking it.

Well, I'm technically a sophmore, I skipped freshman year. I'm taking precalc cause in 6th grade when I took the placement test, I scored a 98 (95+ goes straight to Algebra 1). SO Last year I was tkaing geometry. halfway through the eyar, i was bored (and trying to get out of gym) so I made an arrangement to take the algebra 2 midterm, on the condition that if I scored above an 85, I could join the class. Needless to say, I got a 92 and joined the class, resulting in precalc this year. No one has ever taken precalc as a "freshman" at my school before. I'm considered to be a freshman sortof. The lines are fuzzy. Everyone knows I should be, but my transcript, homeroom and class dues are all grade 10. Freshman usually take Algebra 1 or geometry. A few take algebra 2 if they tested into algebr for 7th grade. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

Geez, pre-calc as a freshman? I took that as a junior, and I was one of the smart kids. Lucky.

How did you end up taking pre-calc as a freshman anyway? When I was a freshman I took geometry and that was considered advanced. I'm taking pre-calc now as a junior. Do the smart freshman at your high school usually get to take pre-calc or were you an exception?

Yeah, but you were a freshman. I take the SATs in May. I'm not too worried though because I did well on my PSATS.

Yeah, basically. I'm just going to see if I can improve. Otherwise, I'm staying far far away from them.

How come you're retaking them? Any reason or just to improve your scores? "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore
