Not exactly. How we argue, fight, bash, hate or anything else is a show of our personality or attitude towards things. Should we have to change that for "respect," or even maturity? I don't think so. I think we should just leave YN how it is. We're just fine. Our writing reflects our views on certain subjects. This is the internet, for christ's sake. There's no need to show any respect unless it is well deserved, and in most cases, it is not. It's like saying we can't use a certain avatar or signature because it's disrespectful when the avatar/signature defines our personality. If we have a fantasy-like avatar, it could show that we are more into cartoons than we are into reality. It just depends. YN is a place where kids can come and talk about just about anything. It's a place where people meet others and unite, we shouldn't have to change that for respect or any other form. There's no reason to.

I completely agree that we come here to share opinions, beliefs and views and that we shouldn't have to stop. But there is a civilized way to disagree while showing respect. Maybe its just me that sees it as a problem.
