Yesterday, after chapel, it was announced in my school that one of the freshman had died the night before. My school took it very hard, especially this being the first death in over 30 years. I was wondering, for you people who might deal with it more, is there anything that we can do as a school, to feel more comforted. We are a private, christian, school if that adds anything to it. At the time of me writing this, we don't know anything about it, except it was during the night, and he was in his bed when his sister(a senior at my school) found him.

Her name is Adrianne.
It was weird because I read your post, and then she told me almost the exact same story.
I'm very sorry about Aaron. He sounded like a very cool guy.

sorry, I'm pretty lazy about grammar on message boards. I do think that's perfectly valid to say, suicided. Committed suicide sounds awkward to me.

I'm sorry! /=
A few months ago a boy from my high school was punched in the head in a fight and died about a week later. My friends and I didn't know him, but we still spent quite a bit of time crying over it.

Is it possible to have a kid "who suicided"? ... Come on people... I think it's more like: a kid "who committed suicide".
Please. Sheesh.

Yeah, some kid a few years ago ran into a football pole (it was 10:00 at night in the dark, no lights) and died. Another kid wasen't wearing a helemt and hit a pole at 150MPH and died. And a few months ago my friend Lia got hit by a car a died. Just yesterday some higschooler gave a kid some drugs (said they were "headache" pills" and died. It happens every year. At my school we have like little "gravestones" with their names, ect. And it's written in the school and town newspaper. -Sunset

A boy at my school died earlier this year from an asthma attack. He had a two page spread in the school paper. It was nice.

This one girl at my school died last month. I think it had something to do with alcohol. They made a little collage and put it in the lobby.
