Okay..... lately I've been going up to my Mom and I will ask her a question and then she just ignores me like she didn't even hear me. Then I'll be like, "Did you hear what I said?" And then she still won't answer me. Then one time she said, "If you asked me questions more nicely then I would answer you." But the thing about it is that I don't talk to her or ask her questions in a mean way. I'm a very nice person but I just don't like being ignored. And yeah... when she ignores me I do get upset because I don't see why she is ignoring me. What do you do and how do you feel when people ignore you? Does this stuff happen to other people too... or is it just me?

You get used to being ignored. I, for one, am almost getting to the point of enjoying it. Being invisible to people has it's advantages. People don't normally hate you. Teachers don't expect anything from you and they don't hate you. You can get away with more stuff too because no one knows who you are. Oh, and sometimes you can ask your parents something and they'll just say "yeah, okay" no matter what it is.

Being ignored sucks plain and simiple. I totally know what your saying.. I feel embrassed, a bit humilated and alone when i'm being ignored.. I try to think I happier thinking when I'm ignored I'll just tell the people who are ignoring me if they would please let me in their conversation if not itend to walk away. why waste time being ignored when I can meet a new person and not be ignored.

I know how you feel, when im at home i feel like i have a sign on my forhead that says "ignore me"
I have 2 little bros and when i tell them to do stuff that they need to do, or tell them they need 2 go somewhere they completely ignore me, it pisses me off so much. And my mom ill tell her stuff, and then l8er on shell come up 2 me and tell that she just heard etc, etc on whatever, even when i just told her that same exact thing. i get so angry, i guess its not that best of solutions, but i at times do the same 2 them as a way to get even.

Being ignored is not cool. When people ignore me I just don't let it bother me, I hate it when people do it to me but I always remember what my French teacher once told me,"Hurt people,hurt People" and its so true. If you are being ignored analyze why and then ask yourself,"Did I do something to offend or hurt this person". If not then hang in there, and find some real friends.

You get used to it. Being unnoticed has its perks, too! *Someone bumps into Eveic. Eveic steals his wallet.* ;_; It's empty...

I personally, can't stand being ignored. My father does that to me and it drives me crazy. and I know I don't react the best way to it either. It ususally ends in me stomping up stairs.

My mommy does it,not to be mean or anything. She just likes to see me get all flustered up. She says I look like her when I'm mad.

You just answered your own question! My guess like a stab in the dark is that you come across pushy or negative and she shuts down because she is the parent. Try not getting upset when
she doesnt answer you right away like you want, try patience. Besides if you are asking questions when a lot of things are going on then she might be sending you the signal to ask later because she is busy. There are a ton of reasons for her to ignore you and until we know her side as well then we really cant tell you what you should do.

I don't exactly have any advice but all I can say is I sympathize because I have had it happen to me..and I know how frustrating it can be........
