Ive been to Ashville. I used to climb teh Appalachains along hte Blue Ridge Parkway.
Its a pretty state.

I don't know about an Anntony's resturaunt but there is this amazing Vietnamese/ Tai place we always go to. And I mean summer camp, not tent and marshmallow camping. It kinda has a hippie/Native American flavor to it, very neat.

I'd love to like the beach, but I always seem to have the most unpleasent encounters with the creatures that dwell there....

I'd say about an hour to two hours. I've been there before and I like it. There's an Anntony's restaurant there, right? If so, that's the one I ate at (the best food I've tasted in a long time).

I can't decide if I like the mountains or the beach better. I don't like to camp and I've been to the beach more but...I don't get sandy and gross in the mountains. It's a tough decision.

This morning's paper reported that WV has the highest rate of youth suicide/homicide/other violent deaths rate in the nation. Me thinks it may be a statistical fluke.


One possible contributing factor to the suicide rate: At least in MY town, we have a very active bagpiping brigade that marches through our 8,000 pop. town.......kilts included.

I am still alone. The closest one to me is YoungWorld but he still lives in Virginia, not NC.

I guess the reason I said milwaukee, is because thats where all the scandal go on. It also helps that I go to a school in Milwaukee, also a private school.
Madison would be a different spectrum but just as bad. Its just as far as I know, they havent even begun to amount to the number of scandals that go on within Milwaukee.
