I was sitting around reading a couple of topics that people had started and I was shocked at how rude some people have been. You really don't need to attack every mistake people make. If someone posts something you disagree with, why do some people need to stoop to personal insults? It's tacky and really just makes you look like a jerk.

If you put forward a really good debate you don't have to stoop to personal insults.

People just get a bit fired up sometimes. We're only human. But I don't like it when people get into a real slagging match, either. If it stays in good humour it's all right, but sometimes it gets downright nasty.

The good thing here, when people insult each other, is that everyone gets a chance to defend themselves. And we're not all hostile or anything. There is a lot of friendliness, supportiveness and humour, not just mudslinging. To be fair when someone really gets slammed for their views, they have often tried to antagonise others and invited conflict (*cough* DesertEagle).

We argue. A lot. 'Tis the way of Youthnoise. It's up to the individual how much pride they take in staying calm and courteous about it.

heh...well, people here are like that. and they're just trying to let everyone know their opinions, that's all.you just have to get used to it. it's been like this for a long time.

For some reason, my mom bought some wine coolers, and they weren't that bad. Bartles & James Hard Raspberry lemonade. But I was kicking myself in the head for enjoying a wine cooler.

Anyways, saying that we like our wine cold wouldn't have sounded the same.

Eww, Uptown, beer is yucky. I prefer a nice wine. Or Smirnoff Ice.

Get used to it. We're stubborn here. We don't change our opinions, we don't change our ways. We like our spelling correct, our beers cold, and our our polls with more than one answer choice. We like our noise the way it is.
