Everwood is the best show! Gregory Smith is very talented, plus the story line leaves you constantly rooting for this character in a certain situation.
Cartoon-turned-comics are good (Spiderman, X-men, et cetra). There's also shows like The Simpsons, Gilmore Girls ('cause that one girl is so nice lookin'), and old episodes of Home Improvement.
BruceLee: I LOVE Spaced! When oh when are they going to make another series? Best British comedy for ages.
I absolutely love reading, but I don't think television should be treated as so much of a lesser form of entertainment. You get a lot of crap but a good series can be REALLY good. Six Feet Under is actually like, deep, man… And ER has a multitude of moral messages, although they're clunkingly non-subtle about it at times. Anyway, just saying this because I've been on sites for people who like reading and a lot of them are very disdainful of tv… which I don't think is exactly fair… it's just as much of a cultural influence as literature and can be just as intellectually stimulating - although I think people who don't want to read as well are missing out.
Ummm...haven't really had the time to watch much tv, except for the news. But I like most comic shows. I'm the kind of person who's always laughing most of the time.
My favourite American shows are ER, 24, but most of all, Six Feet Under. I don't watch that much tv, but I'm a devoted follower of these programmes and never miss an episode. And I mean never.
It is almost like a religion.
………So THAT'S what's filling the gaping spiritual hole in my life.
Gemini: I bet you'd like Six Feet Under. I bet I bet I bet you would.
It's great if you've got a morbid streak.
In fact, great for anyone. It is the best tv show in the history of the universe, probably.
I also like Friends and the Osbournes, but not on the same level.
Pft, I rarely watch television. The only electronic device that "connects" me to the world is the internet. The only show I bother to watch is The O'Reilly Factor IF time permits, which it usually does not. That or CNN Headline News to see who killed themselves that day.
everwood! i am hooked, line and sinker! it's such a great show, and gregory smith is madly hot!
i love friends and the simpsons and will and grace too. i like snl, but i haven't seen it in weeks because i've been so darn tired on saturdays lately!
jesuschick: That 70s Show is the best! It is my fave show. But I DONT have my eyes glued to the T.V. screen all day long.I only watch two or three hours (on thursdays) of T.V. a day: The Amanda Show,(30 mins.)All That,(30 mins.)That 70s Show (I watch the back to back episodes, each is half and hour),and then Survivor on Thursdays.I like to spend most of my free time reading or working a bit on my novel.
I don't spend much time on TV. I mostly watch the news and sport matches. Sometimes I watch movies, but usually just for 15 minutes. In my free time, I'd like to read books or listen to music more.
Ok, some people have said Alias, which is my favorite show. But no ones mentioned Enterprise! i love Enterprise. Yeah, ok, This second season is really sucking now, but think of all the guys...
God I love Cowboy Bebop! There is no show out there better than it to me!!!!!!! It is the best series I have ever lived to see! I like it because, for one, and to be vague, it's excellent. And two, Spike is way too hot to refuse. He's roll-on-the-floor-laughing-your-butt-off halarious, too. Well, for that matter, all the crew is.
My two favorite shows are Malcolm in the Middle and Scrubs. Yeah, I know that both can have a pretty immature sense of humor...but I laugh my butt of everytime I watch either. If you haven't seen either, I'd suggest giving 'em a try.
