I LOVE Irish accents. And Scottish ones. I wish I had an accent...gah, that would be so neat!

One of my old soccer coaches was from Ireland and he had a real Irish accent. Fun times..

I don't think so...The Coors are. They're okay, but I'm not a big fan.

It rained Wednesday. I told everyone at school that it was because the Irish were still crying.
I wore a bit of green but also my Celtic cross to keep things in mind. Props to DWM, Patrick was hardly a "saint".
I must insist that everyone listen to "Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2 or "Zombie" by the Cranberries or watch "Micheal Collins" to make up for their sins. I also dub this Irish History Week (perhaps we'll get a month going). I'm no expert but I plan to learn more.

I do not recognise this holiday. St. Patrick ruined the Celts, destroying their religon and culture, driving families out of their homes and burning villages. Now, every Celtic or Norse tale has Christian influence. All because of Patrick and others.

Yes it is. Remember the Swiss Cafe (old thread)? Lots of drinks there.

I am Irish (whohoo) but I forgot it was St. Patty's day. I didn't wear green. Unless you count the leaves on my cherry earrings... but no one else thought that it did. Oh well. I haven't been in the 'holiday spirit' for anything that counts as a holiday. Maybe next year. -Sunset
