Question:
Who hates harry potter?

Choices:
Hate it (Think it's a waste of time)
Dislike it (Might read if some stuff was different)
Ok (read them but they aren't anywhere close to being my favorite books or anything)
Like it (Like the plot and the stuff about it but aren't my fave. books)
LOVE IT (couldn't live without it and are the best books of all time)

They shouldn't have started producing the movies before all the books were finished. They're going to need new actors for the sixth and seventh movies because "Harry" will have aged 7 or so years.

Like I said before, I think the books are very basic. It annoys me that people take it as creative when Rowling bums off of so many other fantasy elements, and even the real world. She should have spent more time developing the books.

Wow, that sucks. But, I assume that the 3rd one will be out all summer long. You have time. I can't go and see it on the opening day, it's my Dad's birthday when it comes out and the 1st day of no school. -sigh- I'm going to miss middle school... Anyhoo.

Who is going to see it on opening day?

The third movie looks so much better than the first two. The books get darker throughout the series, which is fantastic.

Agreed, I can't wait till the 4th movie. It probably won't come out for another 2 years.

i really like the books, and i think it is interesting to note that the writing improves and the plots are more complex as you get further into the series.
i think the movies are pathetic. the acting is lacking, and they leave out crucial parts (like Hermione's big scene in the first one) while showing things that are rather pointless (like Hedwig flying in circles in the snow). maybe with a new director the third one will be better, but i'm not planning on seeing it.
what frustrates me is that j.k. rowling spends time on the movies when we're still waiting for the books. she could have waited to make the movies until she finished. or she could have not sold the story to the movies at all. she's rich enough, isn't she?

Harry Potter is awesome. JK Rowling is odd, but that is ok. The movies are wonderful, but the books are better!
