well, i used to play the piano.....but my teacher migrated to the US so I stopped........im still planning to retake lessons though.....now, im interested in playing the acoustic guitar! it's so cool!
I started on Eb Clarinet (sometimes i still play it on select stuff), then started Bb Clarinet (i still play that). In 6th grade I started C Flute, and I've been playing key board for a while in a band...we play at the school dances. eh. I love music ^^;;
I play the keyboard a little bit, it can sometimes be boring but when you learn a new song it is fun. I can play some Disney songs, songs by a lot of singers/bands, and other random songs. It is a lot of fun.
dude a flute is the best war club ever invented! ugh, i just picked it up and played a note.....oh no, 9th grade all over again!!!....*runs away in horror*
quote:I used to play piano but it bored me to be honest (no offense or anything!) I just like more loud fast paced music so I wanna learn guitar and bass
I like that kind of music too, so that's what I play on my piano. I play books of 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's rock music... If I can't find sheet music for any particular song I sit down and learn to play it by ear. I know a few Smashing Pumpkins songs... fuuuun.
I've been playing the violin for 5 years now and it's really fun but it also requires a lot of practice so can get really good at it. I guess what instrument you play really depends on what kind of music you like. I like classical music, one of my friends who plays the saxophone likes jazz, and another one of my friends who plays the drums likes rock. Good luck picking an instrument!
i play flute in my band at school, but i really want to learn to play electric guitar or bass guitar. that way i could start my own rock band. btw, u might not like the instrument that gets the most votes, so u might switch to the one u like the most out of those.
I play the clarinet, am learning how to play the piano, and wish to learn how to play the alto sax. If I were you DarkAngel i'd say go for the alto sax b/c the clarinet is so popular, you almost want to be different and unique. Then, if you learn to play the piano after you've mastered the alto sax and the basic concepts of music notes, rhythm, etc., you can try out the piano b/c it'll be easier to learn.
I play alto sax and i love it! i wish i had a chance to learn piano, flute and some other things,though. Unfortunately, i don't have a lot of time to spare so they'll have to wait.
