in a nutshell...yeah.

This is where the argument that the Constitution and the framers of the country goes wrong. Most people will argue that so called Deists such as Jefferson were not Deists because they mention Jesus a few times, that is wrong. Most people do believe Jesus was real, yet only a prophet who meant well. Jefferson as a matter of fact made something called the Jefferson bible where he cut out everything except Jesus' direct quotes.

Jesus' good however was put to bad use and not only that he is made to look like he isn't very smart in the bible. I've explained this before, but stuff like the fig tree. He got mad at a fig tree and made it die because he was hungry and the tree had no figs. Yes he could be demonstrating his humanity or demonstrating his faith. But the time this took place was around passover, which is in the spring...figs do not grow in the spring. You would think Jesus would know that? Either the story was made up as there are 2 versions to it which both don't state the same thing, Jesus is dumb or whoever wrote the story doesn't know much about nature.
