This is a repeat thread. There are atleast three like this.

What if what you think is great, really is great, but it's not as great as something greater?

Why aren't more people posting to this? I like the idea of sharing the stories behind members' usernames Smile

Anyway, my username comes from one of my family's rescued racehorses. That's her in my avatar by the way. She has Slew in her name because she's the granddaughter of Seattle Slew. She probably would have been sent to slaughter if we didn't rescue her.
I always liked her name because it's short and unique. It's become my all-purpose extra name like finn's. (on two other boards I'm on, my username is Slewinca xracer, because she's an ex-racehorse [duh])
I wasn't exactly planning to post on the message boards when I first registered on YN (I registered for Just 1 Click) and I've wondered if I should change the name but I think people have gotten used to me as Slewinca so I think it's gonna stick for now.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it Wink

I have an interesting origin for my username. The clpo represents my fictional company, the Cody Logan Private Organization. Yes, it sounds childish, but I came up with it when I was ten. The 13 is my lucky number derived from my number when I won the local spelling bee a long while back.

I really don't know what I was thinking when creating this one. I tried all my other ones but they were taken. ( by people that never even come here anymore *sigh*) So I live in Ohio and Love it. I like to try to be sweet and I like to eat sweets and I am a girl. that = Ohiosweetgirl.

As I have mentioned before, Finn was this dude from Celtic mythology who burned his thumb on a magic salmon and henceforth was able to use the power of insight by sucking his thumb. 620 is my birthday. I have no idea why I started using Finn as an alias, but it's my all purpose extra name.

Look at my signature. I like the idea that someone is worth the wait whether it be waiting for them to come home from somewhere (boot camp, war, a job trip, whatever) or worth waiting for sex. Both apply to me: My boyfriend is going to boot camp on June 13th and he'll definitely be worth waiting for and I'm waiting until marriage to have sex so my husband will be worth waiting for.

It's kinda general so it can apply to anything. I also saw an infant's outfit that says, "I was worth the wait," and I thought it was soooo cute. But my name originated from the song lyric.
