Here is my question are you tired of the staff changing you posts or words you have typed in response to a question to make you look like you are evil or intolerant? If you are then please write down a response to the staff and tell them that you are tired of your wrods being contorted and put in your mouth that you would never say think or even do. If you want change then we need to stick together and inspire change and make this site work for the people it was created for not for other people to manipulate and change so your words take on a negative meaning.

What I am talking about is the fact that my words have been taken out of context. In the top ten most offensive responses I sound like I am racist and I find it hard to believe that a black man is racist against black people. What kind of junk is that? Besides if the staff likes our responses so much then they need to put the whole response down not just a part or a snipet that makes your words take on a whole new meaning.

Well...I flat out hate censorship in any form. I think it kind of defeats the purpose of forums like this. It's an opinions website, we should be allowed to express our opinions any way we should. Even if it may be deemed "inappropriate" by others it's OUR opinion. Like I've said MANY times before a person's values and morals are part of what makes them an individual and I don't think that anyone has the right to rob them of that. We all think and believe differently, I do have a problem with people, especially authority figures, trying to force individuals to conform to their definition of politically correct.

Dante is correct. Anytime any action is taken on a post an edit stamp will automatically appear at the bottom of the post. Because it is a policy of YouthNOISE not to alter the language of a post, this feature is only used to place astericks on text not allowed on the site.
For example-->

Don't be so eager Joey. The approprite place for this it the Feedback/Talk to Us forum. If you have a specific instance, please point it out. Whenever the staff edits something an "edited by" stamp appears at the bottom of the message. I dont think it's really the youthnoise staff thats your problem though. And who is this "us" you speak of in the subject?

When has this happened? What words did they put in your mouth?

So in other words, YouthNOISE moderators will change someone's original post so that it won't be viewed as "mean" or "intolerant?"
YouthNOISE is great for spouting off about political/social issues, but, like America, values Political Correctness over the Freedom of Speech.
That's if in fact YouthNOISE does that. I'm not sure if I've ever come across it, but if the moderators actually do that, then they aren't any better than a high school newspaper.
