I find it crass and immature that some people on these forums - you know who you are - would diss others whenever that particular person may have different opinions other than their own. Please keep in mind that we all have different beliefs and it is best to tolerate and respect each other even if we do not agree. It's not just online either. Life is like that. You'll meet people with different opinions - deal with it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion whether they agree with me or whether they're wrong.

Mmm. I sense that you don't really feel like talking about this (aren't my psychic powers amazing? *mocks self*). Therefore, yes, that will suffice. I wish that your life had not been sucky enough to make you feel that way. Hope is somewhat of a double edged sword, I suppose (what is it with me and the cheezy cliches today?). But I'll cling to mine for a while longer, if I can manage. Love and all, Jen.

SHORT SHORT VERSION: How long can a person cling to hope for? It's not like I can just latch onto something that has proven its non-existence over and over again to me. If you all find it happy and motivational, then be my guest and hope all you like. But in my lifetime nothing has ever happened that was worth happening(quite repetiviely the opposite) therefore I hate everyone and thnk the world sucks. The actual events are long, boring and not very useful to any of you. Does this suffice?

Dang, I feel dumb. I just noticed that you posted your email to the other thread, and I somehow missed it. So now I can quit trying to NOISEmail you and actually email you. Which I just did. If this doesn't work, I'm going to resign myself to the fact that fate has it in for me, and go bash my head against a wall. Love and all, Jen.

Yes I do. And now I want to know more, since you told me I don't. Meh. I'm going to try to noisemail you the effing post about my brother again, and hope that it actually works this time. *Sigh*

The only thing I don't tolerate is intolerance. I know that sounds hypocritical, but it makes sense when you think about.

An honest question, stupidity: Why do you insist that things cannot be changed? Why is it ridiculous to believe that they can? I really want to know why you think this, I'm not trying to be sarcastic, and it's not a rhetorical question. Contrary to popular belief, I actually value what you have to say, and I'd like to know why you feel this way. Love, Jen.

"""Why do you accept things that are just there?""" ___Why do you pretend that you can actually change things? How can you pretend that just caring about something will ever make a difference? How about you keep dreaming and you can then "wake me up" as soon as your new perfect world has arrived. But until then I'm going to slowly drown myself in our undeniably crappy hellhole of a planet.

quote: 1. The KKK isn't close-minded? In that case, Spud, would you care to explain their ruthless agenda against black people and other races except their own (caucasian)? How can you justify their killing so many people with your little understanding of peace. You can't! Hate can never be justified.
The KKK doesn't agree with interracial marriages. Don't assume they are the same kind of organization as they were 20 years ago. quote: 2. The United States Constitution calls for freedom and equality. The KKK, a supremicist group, does not support equality but yet thinks of themselves as the true Americans. Now how can a "true American" not follow their own constitution/principles?
Not supporting something, let alone teaching against it, isn't taking away a person's rights. quote: 3. Further more, have you even asked yourself where hate stems from Spud? Take a look at this : unknown<fear<misunderstands-the-unknown<anger<HATE
Neither my dictionary or thesaurus agrees with you. Are you prepared to challenge the American Standard Dictionary? I should hope not. Hate is a feeling that comes with understanding. quote: How ironic of you. I've checked this thread many times over and I have not once called anyone a name. You are the one angry at me for diagreeing with you. I respect your opinions Spud but your blatantly blind statements are too easy to manipulate.
You called someone closed-minded, which isn't a trait, which makes it a name. I am not angry, I'm just making sure you have a clear understanding, which doesn't involve a huge amount of politness. Try to manipulate my statements at will, but you'll only disappoint yourself.

"Hatred doesn't ask to be justified. The fact that it is present without justification wont change the fact that it's still there."
There's alot of things that don't ask to be justified but there are still a few that attempt to do so. Why do you accept things that are just there? What if they are wrong?
"There's no point to making the point you think that you're making."
Awareness is the first step towards a solution or at least some improvement.

quote: Oh, and you're doing much better with the insults thing. Keep it up.
Thanks I'll take that as a compliment, if that was one though. quote: Hatred doesn't ask to be justified. The fact that it is present without justification wont change the fact that it's still there. There's no point to making the point you think that you're making. Did I make my point?

Spud : "Being a member of the KKK, hating people, and disagreeing with you does NOT make someone closed-minded."

"You can't change people's mindset or opinions. And you shouldn't punish them because they think differently than you."
Indeed, I can't and i didn't necessarily say I intended to. I am only hoping that people wouldn't be so close-minded and open up to new ideas. It's a pity that so many of us choose to divide ourselves and lose potential friendships.
