Celtic and YV mentioned a list of "rules" or "guidelines" (that sounds nicer, huh?) for newbies. These are to help you, so read on or be picked on. Wink There are certainly others that have been here longer than me so feel free to add to my short "starter list"!

1- Do not, I repeat, do not start repeat threads!

2- Study up on your grammar skills and spelling before you start posting.

3- Back up your points and/or arguments.

4- Do not pick on the veterans or everyone will tear you a new one.

5- Have fun and loosen up.

1-We are all born originals - why is it so many of us die copies? 2- Life is tough... it's tougher if you're stupid.

Benje, you're missing the point.

And technically, I don't need to pay any attention to these rules because I am not a newbie.

Those are rules for newbies, not veterans.

And if you're implying that we're uptight, we're not. We just don't tolerate stupidity.

And, there already is a rule number 6. you should check these things.

True, it's meaning has changed, but at the time they were sporting it, the symbol was clearly tied to homosexuality.

It's just a rainbow. Symbology changes over time. The rainbow stripes used to be associated with peace and love. Then the homosexual rights movement started using it also, and eventually adopted it.

Quite a few of the conservatives have sported the gay pride avatar, if I'm not mistaken.
