Hello everyone. I'm doing a magazine cover on people who are in garage bands and i was wondering what do people in garage bands like? some assistance would be great. have fun with it

And BTW...the only reason I'm even having this argument is because she said my friends don't have talent. I don't know if you guys believe in "Sticking up for people you love", but I do, and that is what I was doing. END OF DISCUSSION. I'm off to find some other poor soul to argue "pointlessly" with.

LoL...wow you people try to act so prim and proper...that's what drives ME crazy. Do any of you ever have any fun? Or is going around on different threads trying to make people look stupid your kind of "fun"? And as for a pointless argument- your completly right, this IS a pointless argument. So? Does everything have to have a point with you guys? Can't someone just argue for the hell of it? Why is everyone so "If You Don't Have A Good Point Don't Even Talk"? It's downright annoying... and, as for "Recorderist"...that is also something my band made up for...*gasp...shall I even dare say it?* FUN!

I like the arguments on important issues but argueing on somthin as simple as a band and then letting it grow into somthin like this is just stupid in my opinion

I'd expect that one who's in seventh grade yet claims to do 11th grade work would be able to correctly construct sentences, and spell words like "arguing" correctly. And obviously, your 11th grade ability isn't that great, because you can't seem to argue very well.

Oh, and this just bugged the hell outta me, so I have to say something:

I could argue with you all day, sweet heart, but this is why I am not:

1) You're stupid.
2) You're reinforcing the "shallow teenager" idealism.
3) You're stupid.
4) You're annoying.
5) You're not good at arguing when you continuously contradict yourself (and pushing yourself into a corner is generally not regarded as a good thing).

Also, I am not going to waste the time of the people on YN who do not wish to see petty arguing. I might have too much time on my hands, but I will not waste it on you.

Frankly...I thouroughly enjoy this argueing. My idea of one hell of a good time. But hey, if you wanna agree to disagree on this one, I'm for it. I'm sure we'll find many, many more things to argue about in the near future.

You know, that whole "doesn't even merit a response" thing doesn't work for me. That's the excuse people use when they can't think of anything to say...which I don't blame you, it's pretty useless trying to argue with me... since we're on the subject of picking up traits, I might as well say that I've seemed to pick up the "never lose an arguement" trait from many people in my family.
And yes, I was going to leave, but then I realized that leaving would be giving up, kind of like losing an arguement. And that's just not my style.

For your information, I am not annoying. I ACT annoying, especially here. Why? I don't know, possibly because I find some kind of pleasure in driving you crazy. Obviously it works, you hate me already. As for me judging cheerleaders: No. I did not judge them, everyone else has. Unfortunatly, when someone talks of a cheerleader, most people think of some snobbish prep, just out there cheering to show off their stuff. So that is not my judging at all. Just like... gangsters. If I said my friend was a gangster, a few things would probably show up in your mind. Now please remember, this is simply an example... but even if she was a gangster, she might not fit the description that comes to your mind...but that's not judging, it's simply how you picture a certain group of people. So nice try in making me look like a hipocrit. (excuse the spelling...)
