Today I felt pretty random and thought "What if the members of YouthNoise organized a flash mob?" I think it would be pretty cool, not to mention hilarious. It wouldn't have to be on a single location. It could be in different places at the same time with members who lived close to each other in different places. Just go along with me here. Any ideas on themes? Flash Mob: A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.(Source: Wikepida)

Kind of like the truth ads, right? If you can't find a huge group of people, still functional as a handful. It would be a great project for those people in school, to get the school involved. Theme ideas would probably be determined on the individuals' personal opinions on issues, but they each should have a common theme. If they're yn organized, maybe a yn label or something similar?

Okay, my first thought was that we'd all go around flashing people, but that was before I read the rest of the thread...But it is a cool idea! (Not the flashing bit)
Please save this for me. I'll come back for you, love, I promise to.--Ludo

Yes! We should all do IE things (or similar things so it's not just copying off them). Plus it'd be easier to get more people, because there are Facebook/MySpace groups of people everywhere in the country (Not just NY where the real IE is) who all want to do Improv missions.

Those are pretty cool, Cap. They were very creative. Loved the one where they 400 people show up to cheer a random local kids game. Thought it was wonderful they'd do that.

Double post here. Sorry, but I found this article that might help explain a little bit more about what I'm talking about. Flash Mob Freezes In Plaza For Organ DonationThat might help to give a better idea. It doesn't have to be just like that, but it's an example.

Ack, no. That'd beat the point of it being a "mob." What I meant is for example, let's say there's 50 or so people that can get together in California, and maybe 30 in Michigan, and so on and so forth. But they'd all do the event on the same day. And if there's not enough YN members, you could get your friends and young people in your school involved. The themes could be related to YN causes and things like that. And we could videotape it and submit it to YN.
