I read about the teenagers sueing McDonalds because they claim its McDonalds fault that they're obese and now have health problems. Frankley, I think they are using McDonalds as a scapegoat. One girl said she didn't know McDonalds food was fattening and that she was never warned. Hello? How ignorant can you be? I mean don't you kind of figure that its fattening, with all that grease. It just makes me angrey that these kids will probably win this lawsuit and never take responsibility for they're actions. It's like if someone never pays attention in class and then blames the teacher for their bad grades (or stupidity).

These people think they will win because of what they saw with the Phillip Morris company. They even have the same lawyers. Their suit is ridiculous and probably won't get anywhere, but at least after all this coverage, no one NOW will be able to say they don't know McDonald's is bad for them.

All this whole sue crazy case is about is getting rich with out having to work for it. I mean come on how could you be stupid enough to think that a hamburger with a bun soaked in grease is good for you? Besides look at the way people with weight problems are shown on tv, not to often! Plus there is the added fact that people are becoming health nuts and more and more are trying to watch what they eat. People are constantly bombarded with health news and issues on the tv, radio and internet so they really cant claim that they didnt know unless they hide under a rock all day.

i think ppl are just stupid and sue happy and need to get a life...how dumb can a person be...

i think that one of the children ate mcdonald's for "every meal" for around 5 years. that's a lot of mcdonald's. i think that the whole lawsuit is utter nonsense centered around one fact: fast food is not good for you. of course, when people 1st started suing tobacco companies in the early 1980s, everyone was ridiculing them as well. there's definately method behind the billion-dollar payout madness. scary.

I know! I mean, you just have to look at it to know it's bad for you! and anyway, I don't think anyone eats McDonalds enough for it to have a direct affect on your health, not on the UK anyways, what about in america??
