So Capricorn thinks Mods should be able to intimidate NOISEmakers into providing proof under penalty of deleting posts. By the way, I'm pretty sure Mods are not allowed to enter into the debate under their Mod screen name. Since they represent youthNOISE I doubt they are able to voice their opinions as a Mod. This isn't an issue of getting what you want, it is an issue of right and wrong.

Greenmod has asked me to support my arguments with proof before. I think this is inappropriate. If she is not willing to debate, don't join the debate. This is fine. I don't want mods debating on the forums, and I don't want them asking for proof either.

I never really understood the "multiple posts" thing. If each one is rather long, and responding to a seperate person each, it helps organize them. Oh, this one is for me, that one is for so-and-so, yeah? As it is, don't you think you're targeting members like you claim the mods are? You've already stated your opinion on a mod; no need to do it twice. Anyhow, shouldn't this be in feedback, or did you put it in the wrong section on purpouse so the mods would have to move it, and you'd have another reason to complain? I've never seen a mod spam boards. What are you talking about?

I think in the case on JPAAH, the notification that multiple posts is considered spam was warranted...however, I agree that putting a post in addition to the obnoxious multiple posts kind of contributed to the issue. It's like when the Coast Guard gets on the radio to inform people not to make calls for radio checks on Channel 16 so that they can hear emergency calls...when they are in turn contributing to the overall problem. At the same time, I feel it could be necessary in order to prevent further "spam" in the future, making it completely justified. Bottom line: I don't really care one way or the other...but ^^ there are some points to think about. "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. I like GreenMod, and all the other mods.

I've noticed no unusual behavior from any mod. The notice about multiple posts in a row is kind of annoying, since I don't see much of a problem with that (especially if it's only two or three posts), but I can see the reasoning behind it. Condensed posts = less clutter.

quote: I find it interesting YouthVoice always comes to the defense of GreenMod. Always? I've only responded with two posts on this matter and in defense of no one. Only stating facts. quote: Did you even read the original post in this thread? Yes, I did. And that is why I took the time to respond. quote: Please don't spam the boards with posts that contribute nothing to the discussion. Actually, posting this second thread about the same topic would be consider spamming. So think again. I entered a new scholarship contest. I am anxious to read what others think of Mods and most people don't surf the feedback board to discuss issues. Please don't spam the boards with posts that contribute nothing to the discussion.

Wasn't there already a topic about how you felt about GreenMod? And if you have any complaints, shouldn't you be posting them in the Feedback board or emailing YN?
