I think we are beginning to stray into the realm of the geek. One can be a nerd and a geek, but being a nerd does not automatically make one a geek and vice versa.

Nerds = overachiever, ultra-intelligent, book smart
Geeks = love of trivia and fictional universes

Of course, it's more nuanced than that, but it's hard to describe unless you are one or the other (or both).

A good example of a geek is something who knows about and lectures on the difference between a nerd and a geek. A good example of a nerd is someone who looks up the etymology of both words and criticizes me on not defining them better.

Thus concludes today's lesson.

The more you know, the less you don't know.

I love how both of you "nerds" misspelled "grammar." Razz

You are a nerd if you have more classes to take than required credits because you have that many different areas of study (majors/minors) and don't want to give them all up.

You are a nerd if you spend your free time doing extra work for extracurricular law day and ethics competitions.

You are a nerd if you spend weekends studying for the Law School Admissions Test.
