The family of Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun has asked the world to pray for his release. They don't care what religion you are, who you are, they just want you to pray for him. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Wiccans, anyone. Just pray for him. They ask you to. And as a proud American citizen, I trust that others like me who are proud of their country will do the same.

Yes. I'm sure it's because of Jesus.

And what exactly is the norm? I find that one voice is not heard in the masses, thus the minority is crushed.

One voice (i.e., your post here) can truly make a difference when facing against the norm! I for one stand by your post, and will wholeheartedly pray for Wassef Ali Hassoun's release.

peacerox03: I was so proud when I read your posting too. I stand by your every word!

Great Inspiring Posts!

they all want our prayers, don't they?

hey guys, why dont we cool it a little here?

Um. No. I didn't ask him to cool it when he asked for prayers, so I reserve the right to be negative.

*This post has been deemed free of polka dots by me (and sometimes, not to mention originally, Purpledog), in my endless pursuit to cast out all traces of polka dots from youthNOISE. surely, if i tell everyone fifty times a day that i hate polka dots, they will hate them too. by posting this signature, i can join the crusade against polka dots without ever mentioning it in the body of my messages. in fact, the use of this signature entitles me to use polka dots in a message, even though i am fighting against them.*

hey guys, why dont we cool it a little here? im kind of shocked at all the negativity here. all she is asking is for prayers, not judging you or anything like that. we are all in the same boat here, and it would be nice if we could just be a little more willing to help each other out, and a little less critical of a simple request for prayers. okay??

I will pray for him but not because of "pride". I think that our pride will drown us someday. I will pray for him because I am human and so is he. And humans, no matter what race/religion, deserve to have a good life
