I had to get the kids at my school thinking about it because alot of them werent taking it seriously. As i moved into my 8th grade year i noticed there were more couples and more people "doing it". Then one of my friends got pregnant and i decided to draw the line. I spoke to my principle and my counselor and we arranged an assembly. People from all over came to speak. There were even a few teen parents there to try to discourage it. It was really the best thing i ever did because i noticed a change in my school For better. Unfortunately for my friend it was to late...but just maybe i helped somebody else.

I think that when you try to get people to have a meeting on the topic sex, it isnt just about the contraceptives, i think its more on the values. Most people "do it" because they dont really care whats going to happen next and they have less values probably because they dont get a lot of it from their family.
Schools should also speak on values, what sex really means, the consequences, that people should value virginity. I really value virginity because i think that people dont care for that very much. I think that being a virgin not only means not having sexual intercourse but it also means being good in terms of speech, manner and the way you treat other people with respect.
If i will hold a school meeting on sex, i would impose to the students about values and love.

hiphop_honey08, I admire your boldness! It's hard to stand up against everyone else-especially at school.
I think people need to undertand what they're really doing when they have sex. It's not just physical, but mental and spiritual as well.
