Winston Churchill, the true symbol of Britian, voted the greatest Britain of all time.

Confucious, for attempting to lead us all to some form of decency.

King Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, who gave us the foundation of the laws of chivalry.

The Buddha, for giving us something to think about.

My hero is Miyamoto Musashi. He was a wandering swordsman who won over 50 duels to the death in his lifetime. Near the end of his swordfighting career he stopped using a metal sword and used a wooden practice sword to kill his opponents. He lived in the mountains and was never a wealthy man although he enjoyed art and poetry. He later wrote the book of five rings which today is used not only as a martial arts guide but a guide to corporate warfare.

On a side note, I've seen alot of mention as to this Brain Deneke guy so I went ahead and did some research on the whole deal. While I think it is wrong that he died and I do agree that politics and popularity had a role in his killer's special treatment, I feel that he was not an innocent in all of this as when he was killed he was in the middle of a street fight where he was wielding a weapon... to make him out to be some kind of martyr because of the way he dressed seems a bit novel to me, but that's just my opinion.

My hero? My dad. Clear and simple. He's everything I want to be. Except for the petroleum engineering part. I'd rather be an astrophysicist or a cosmologist.

A word of advice: By hating preps, you're doing to same thing they do to you. By calling themselves preps at all or by calling yourself punk, you're reenforcing stereotypes and generalizations.

My heros? Dr.Seuss, Lewis Carroll, Linkin Park, Chris Carraba, Alfred Hitchcock, etc.

Dr. Seuss---just an awesome guy who wrote cool books for little kids.

Lewis Carroll---Come on, Alice in Wonderland...it doesn't get any better than that.

Linkin Park---my favorite band. Laugh all you want

Chris Carraba---lead singer and basically backbone of Dashboard Confessional. He writes amazing lyrics and I could listen to his songs all day.

Alfred Hitchcock---my favorite movie is Psycho. The man is a movie genius. He is the shiznit.

Etc.---I love so many people. I'll probably add to this later.
