Affirmative action is just like saying minorities need help to get into a good college or job because they are too dumb to get in based on their intelligence. Race should not be a factor in determining who gets in, it should be based on merit. It would be great to live in a world where you were based on your merit, not the colour of your skin. If colleges want to make things more fair for minorities, they should treat them like anyone else. And if you accept someone based on their ethnicity colleges may accept people who are under-qualified and do not deserve to go to that college.
