Between Elderly and Young Lady
Was moving from one department to another; and from one building to another. Visiting old friends, and the employees who had worked with years ago. Visiting his friends to assure that they are in good health and living, and restore what has been broken between them. Visiting fellow workers - to know who has taken his position and office – who has been promoted - and who has been transferred to another area? He has been this way since his retirement, like a wasp moving – with its annoying sound - from one place to another, never calms down and does not let the others in peace.

Never forgets every time he meets any person capable of hearing him, to tell him his life story. Trying to beg the compassion, and to draw the attention to him. Starts after soughing in regret on his former life saying: She has left me and my house – the mother of my children - after I have grown older and retired, and she has gone to live in one of her children's homes. After a period of rest trying to catch his breath difficultly to say: She has forgotten all those years of living together, the long companionship, and the good friendship!

That was what he has believed in, but what the others have known is somehow different. After his retirement, has become a heavy burden on his family, he was applying his career life on them. Could not forget what he was in, and could not resort to quiet and calm life! Could not bear the emptiness that has surrounded him from every side, and replaced that by interfering in every small and big thing. Imagining himself still a manager in his place of work, ordering this person – directing that person - and punishing a disobeying subordinate! There he was interfering in the house work – in the kitchen – in the cooking, and expressing his views in what knows and does not know. Till the bickering and the fighting started to grow and multiply between him and his wife. She could not bear his burdens and worries, after being infected and attacked by diseases, because of him and her aging. So, she was forced to run to one of her children's house, to find someone to take care of her and her needs.

He was saying happily and proudly: People have advised me to leave her and her concern, and not to think about pacifying with her, or returning back to her. And replacing that deteriorated old woman by a foreign young lady, who will restore my health and youth. Really I liked the idea, and went on to implement it. Who will refuse to marry a small fresh girl, penetrates joy and pleasure just by looking at her?! But not long after our marriage, I have find out that her marriage to me was due to greed. My retirement pension was no not enough for her alone and did not satisfy her, but she was asking for more and more. She became hungry as a fire eating a dying grass. I was afraid not to fall into the debt circle, so I divorced her before engaging with childbirth and kids.

This was a small young foreigner who has risked her present life, for a better future one. Is it possible to sacrifice all of that with an elderly old aged, has been ridden by illness due to his fights with his wife and the mother of his children, without return?! He does not want a wife to live with the remaining of his life, but a maid to serve him and meet his needs. She was a foreign woman in a strange country, far away from her country and her people. She has to ensure her future and quickly, before he been attacked by death. And his people and children attack what is left of his money, so she comes out from all of this empty-handed.

Thus the first poor woman has exited from his life escaping, in an attempt to preserve her present. And divorced the second and send her on final exit, because she was trying to ensure her future!
