Jesus wasnt from Israel silly billy. (that is according to the bible which i dont take as a very reputable source but its the only place to get info on ancient carpenters who stirred up alot of trouble)

i'd say that captain planet is a pretty close second to jesus on the list of coolness. you could even think of the planeteers as the apostles!

Well...the showdown.
Captain Planet is blue, while Jesus was middle eastern or black. Blue is just more unique

Captain Planet had green hair. But, it was a crew cut. Meanwhile, Jesus is portrayed as being a freaking hippy. I'm down with that, I had Jesus hair.
Advantage: Jesus
Captain Planet has Earth, Wind, Fire (Not Parliament, though) Water, and a little monkey.
Jesus could just do the walking on water, water to wine, and cursing fig tree thing. (it's true)
But, he could probably call in aerial strikes from God if he wanted to. So....

Captain Planet faced many colourful enemies with corny names. Jesus faced the wickedness of the human soul. Oh, please.

It gets ever so tough. But here are the final deciding factors...
There was a movie where Rob Lowe dressed up as Jesus for halloween. ROB LOWE AS JESUS! ROB LOWE!
However, the voice of the Kwame (the Earth kid) was LeVar Burton. Yes, as in Star Trek and Reading Rainbow. If I had to go for a Hippy teamed up with Rob Lowe or a Blue guy from the early 1990's teamed up with LeVar Burton...
That's hard.
